I,m 21 first time i watched this movie I was 5 I think by now I watched this movie over 87 times and still love it I love this movie so much sry for my bad Englisch I,m German
Everytime i watch "Rambo", i promise to myself to take it easy...it's a movie...and everytime i cry during the final scene, when this wonderful song start...Rambo 1-First Blood is the true, hard/sweet, John Rambo. Thank you Mr.Stallone for this masterpiece. Bye from Italy 🇮🇹🍻🇺🇸
I LOVED First Blood from the very first time I watched it back in the 80ies!!! One of my all time favorites!!! The novel of David Morell is outstanding, Stallone was a force of nature.. and together with Brian Dennehy as Teasle and Ted Kotcheff as director I'll never ever get enough of this fantastic movie!!!!
I was 12 and my brother, 6 years older, rented it for us at the video store. Silvester Stallone will always be a part of my life. They were such great times. Rented 3 videos on VHS over the weekend, no cell phones. Always a great experience.
No one to trust but yourself, believe in yourself encourage yourself find the strength deep within your gut, funny how many people say they got friends and then make fun of the ones that only have 1 or 2 but truth be told it all pans out in the end when you need the other person and truth be told it's extremely hard to be honest either your lying to yourself or your lying to them, but when you lay it down on the table who is who and treat others the way you want to be treated you hardly ever get the same respect so many people will smile on your face and talk behind your back i say stay in your own lane and when that person helps you when you truly need it then you say you got a friend until then keep on moving with what you bed to get done, people call some people a holes but truth is not all of them are just in bad mood they don't go out much and they don't have too meant friends cause what's the point in pretending to get along with people to get your next paycheck when someone treats you a certain way you give it right back that's life you don't do something sms expect the other to lay down and take it that's why I'm self employed construction, no boss to tell me I'm fired work as many hours and way better pay then any other job, i have a friend who helped me with $1000.00 and didn't want me to pay him back that's a true friend doing something from the heart I've been through it all ive seen it all sms found out things that we're going on in this world that would cause people to lose their mind, people may say i know cause they've heard or seen on tv but when your on the position in person and witness it first hand that's where it matters most people say I'm emotionless not completely but go through so much and you have to be that mountain that can't be moved the one that can keep a steady composer through any situation money makes the world go round but don't think the money changes a person it just gives the person enough space to unfold into who they really are, if you remember where you came from and know who you are inside and never faked your personality then money won't change you, money equals how you live personality and heart and hard work humbleness equals respect and courteous generous and thoughtfulness equals love keep the faith hold on tight and days will get better hold onto where you came from and you'll value things in life I'm 26 some might say your young but age is just a number its your experience that tells your age people liked at my eyes sms say i look 40 but my other features make me look young so much stuffed in such short time of being alive could've died when i was 2 from a dog, walked to elementary school instead of gong back inside and saying i missed the bus, growing up not being able to depending on anybody cps 16-17-homeless at 18 for a few months , my counselor took me in so i could graduate high school risking her job, got my own place at 19 got my own business going learned little by little did so good on my own i owned a $15,000.00 Rolex how good i was doing know how to build a house, landscaping, mechanic work car audio and video gps light effects custom as well home audio and video, phone tv laptop repair, after all the pain and sacrifice and crawling to not struggle anymore here i stand can say that I'm probably the only 26 year old to have Ever fight his way to the top and earned every bit i got without any hand out and against everyone who ever doubted me pain will make you a man you can either lay down or you can fight
Im like John. 6 years in orphanages. My parents left me when I was kid. Now Im 36. My life is eternal fight. On my own. Alone. But I never give up. This is long road called LIFE.
Dr. Hugh Bumazz They are classics have them all to on dvd and big fan of 80s and 90s action movies and action stars like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis and others in their prime better then movies of today.
probable it absorbs our attention due to what it is told. it is not just fighting wars. when people see the real purpose of the movie they get to like it... not all people are able to appreciate a masterpiece.
My father, Master Sergeant David Francis Lightowler of the 101st Airborne Division, a volunteer during the Vietnam War, has just passed on last Thursday, March 30th. He was my hero. A hero just as well as Rambo could have been for anyone, and he, like Rambo and any other Vietnam veteran, deserves our gratitude. Gratitude for his service to our country and gratitude for the love he shared to his own family; especially his children, including myself. R.I.P. Dad. Your courage and sacrifice shall not have been in vain.
Hello Sean , My name is Patrick , I'm french , I leave near Paris , France , and I want to tell you , I'm so sorry about that , It was a hero for me , I just want to tell you , your father will be all the time a hero , RIP Master seargent David Francis Lightowler.
This song was and still is bad ass. I was a kid when my veteran uncle who was in Vietnam told me about the horrors he experienced. But this song is comforting
This is a great song. But it makes me sad for all the Vietnam vets who came home to angry hippies and an uncaring public. Thank you all for your service!
I don’t think random hippies in a few blue states were the barometer for the way vets were viewed by the public. If anything it was middle America and government that failed the vets.
So many was scarred like rambo, alone beaten, weakened and forgotten. Their sacrifices for a war they have nothing to do with, still they fought for their country.
They were all liberals that spit on the vets and treated them horribly!! My mom would have beat the crap outta us if we didn’t thank and appreciate them.
And I did what I had to do to win! But somebody wouldn't let us win! And I come back to the world and I see all those maggots at the airport, protesting me, spitting. Calling me baby killer and all kinds of vile crap! Who are they to protest me, huh? Who are they? Unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they're yelling about!
to b honest... the vietnam war was a pos. At some point it was about kill count. SO they started killing village people. ANd just bulldozered the whole place.
When you're on your own And it hurts when They tear your dreams apart And every new town Just seems to bring you down Trying to find peace of mind Can break your heart It's a real war Right outside your front door I tell ya Out where they'll kill ya You could use a friend Where the road is That's the place for me Where I'm me in my own space Where I'm free that's the place I want to be 'Cause the road is long yeah Each step is only the beginning No breaks just heartaches Oh man is anybody winning It's a long road And it's hard as hell Tell me what do you do To survive When they draw first blood That's just the start of it Day and night you gotta fight To keep alive It's a long road
I am 14, I never saw this movie until today, all of the 3 Rambo movies, I love the Rambo movies, kinda sad how the treat the Vietnam vets but respect to you guys
I'm rarely hit this hard by an action movie in the feels. There is so much to take away from this character study of a film. It fully showcases the effects war can have on the mind of an individual. This is one of the reasons Rambo: First Blood is among my favourite movies.
I think Brian's Rambo character would had to have been pushing 90 by the time Last Blood happened, lol. Even if still alive, I kinda doubt he'd have been much of a threat. You'd probably needed to have done a 'Rambo goes back to the original town years later' kind or movie about 25 years ago.
A great song, "First Blood" is one of Sylvester Stallone's best performances outside of the Rocky franchise! His performance in "Copland" is great as well, should have been Oscar nominated!
The 80s was the last decade America was America. They had the best music and also the best movies. Back then people had a sense of humor. Nowadays everybody is at each others throat. I wish I could go back to the 80s
"I can't get it out of my head. A dream of seven years. Everyday I have this. Sometimes I wake up and I don't know where I am. I don't talk to anybody. Sometimes a day - a week. I can't put it out of my mind. "
This is such a good movie. Sly’s a legend. This movie shows very well how vietnam vets came home shellshocked, and of course how bad some of them were treated. Thank you for your service.
Sou brasileiro o Rambo marcou minha infância,hj com quarenta anos assisti novamente como em várias ocasiões.sempre me emociono , Sylvester Stallone sou fã demais monstro como ator.
For everyone who said Rambo movies are bad your simply wrong guys this is majestic and mesmerizing things happen in our life thank god and thank you sly to have your movies in our life
I used to watch this movie with my dad. I didn’t know much of the story and just thrilled to see gunfight. He was such a naughty dad to share his sigma male hobby with his ten year old son. But I loved him for that and I wanna raise my child just like him. Revisiting the first movie almost twenty years later where the Rambo having a breakdown. I finally understand what the movie is all about. And I suddenly realize the days when me and my dad watch movies and get excited together are long gone, never coming back. I somehow got tears filled up in my eyes just like Rambo. “Where is everybody?”
It was the legendary movie of my childhood. My biggest dream was to go to the town of Hope, where that movie was made. I still dream because it is a beautiful town.
On a personal level, I think Last Blood was one movie too many. Rambo IV was my 2nd favourite of the franchise and such a perfect end, with him looking back over the highway and turning towards home after so many years, as the instrumental of 'Long Road' plays. That just felt like such a full circle moment. From wandering the highways as a lost soul, to finally finding some inner peace and returning home after so many years.
Stallone. The man.The legend. This movie never gets old. The sheriff should have let Rambo pass through in peace and have a bite to eat and freshen up. They treated Vietnam vets badly when I was growing up. So many came to Canada where I live. Depression, suicide, cancer, effects from Agent Orange exposure probably killed many survivors. The terrible loneliness of not being cared for by an America they gave their all for and served to protect. Been to Hope,BC where First Blood was filmed. My cousin lives in Hope.I’d like to see her again. I miss her 🙂💙❤️
Growing up, I could only visualize Rambo as a gung-ho machine. But now I can see the depth of his character and his emotions, and underneath all that muscle and chest, there is a man who has been in pain for a long time, but has always striven to protect, defend and avenge despite all odds. And the best actor to have played that role is Stallone himself. The man with an indomitable spirit and strength of character. Hats off to you, Sly!
Just came back from "Last Blood" and man was it a blast! A fitting farewell for John Rambo. Only one thing bothered me. He said he can get used to modern hip-hop/rap/beat music. When there are theme songs like this, one can not get used to modern music. And John, nothing is over! Nothing...
To me at least, the most fitting farewell was Rambo looking back over the highway one last time and then turning down his family farm's driveway, as the instrumental of 'Long Road' plays. The old soldier has finally found some level of inner peace and he's finally come home.
Great song it will always be , like Rambo it will just keep going , for me Rambo 1 was the best and the last Rambo where he is on the river boat is a great action movie , thank you
Sly never disappoints as far as going all out for his scenes...music always awesome think about Rocky series (his bro Frank!-great voice and was in Rocky 3-performing also in "staying alive " which was directed by Stallone! He's massively talented!!
Agreed. They should have just ended it there. I mean if people want to believe something like Last Blood still happened? That's fine. If people want to believe that his father was still alive and got to see his son one more time and his final years were peaceful? That's fine to. Just give us the best possible ending and leave us to imagine what happens after.
I was born in 1982 on the same year as the movie been made. Man, I wish I cloud go back to the 1980's. That decade is way better than 2000-2010, man. GREAT UPLOAD! RAMBO RULES!
Gosh, I'm so happy I grew up in the 80's & 90's!! Before smartphones, internet, Netflix, excessive CGi use in movies etc. We were sharing VHS cassettes with Sly, Arnold, JCVD in crappy quality, but valued it as gold.
Guys my name is rocky and my Dad name is Sylvester what a coincidence my Dad went to London and saw the movie Rocky and named me after that He is no more with me but I can feel his love and passion for Rocky and Rambo. Love you all.
Rambo has and will never be racist bad guys are bad guys and he has fought for everybody around the world I am 42 years old I saw First Blood in the theaters with my Daddy I've seen them all he's a friend and a hero to an entire generation it will be so sad when Sly's time comes and Arnold's, Hulk Hogan etc. Those were our heroes the people here who have posted remember them THANK YOU God Bless you cos the world is in a sad sorry state and if Rambo was young he could have cleaned up all of Mexico, Russia, Africa, the Middle East and everywhere else too cos he's BRAVE, GOOD AND HEROIC.
Just saw Last Blood; loved it! It wasn't like the last couple of films, it had some sad moments, befitting the depiction of an aged warrior trying to find peace in his latter years and reflecting on those he'd lost. I was just glad he didn't die.
I won't begrudge someone enjoying a movie but for me the perfect end was Rambo IV. We first see him on the highways, as a lost soul but now the soldier has fought one last great battle and helped people in need and he's finally ready to come home and we see him gaze over the highway one last time and as he turns to the dirt driveway, we hear 'Long Road' Feels like the series and the character have come full circle.
Whoever composed the music or sound in First Blood man i swear i hope he won some kind of award bc the sounds in the jungle i dont even know how to describe it or what instrument it even is but it goes “da da da Da Da DUM” for suspense & then also the horns get me every single time
It's a long road when you're on your own and it hurts when they tear your dreams apart and every new town just seems to bring you down trying to find peace of mind can break your heart
This has to be Stallone's best movie. A realistic movie depicting a homeless Vet.
Rocky is the best
He only looks homeless that's why teasle wanted him out of hope
''They drew first blood, not me...''
King Yousif First Blood from 1982 is one of Stallone’s best though next to Rocky in 1976 and was Stallone’s first non Rocky film at the time that didn’t bomb at box office.

Medalls from the Congress are not for eating
A vet with massive PTSD who has seen so many ugly things that he cannot longer function in normal society.

If I had seen today's video games during the 80's, though, I would probably have been more than a little excited about them.
I also missed..
I love the 80s action movies
@@MightyJuan154 80s was a time of prosperity, progress, dreams and peace.
I'm rarely hit this hard by an action movie in the feels. There is so much to take away from this character study of a film. It fully showcases the effects war can have on the mind of an individual. This is one of the reasons Rambo: First Blood is among my favourite movies.
RIP Actor Richard Crenna as Col. Trautman.
RIP Brian Dennehy ( Sheriff Teasel) 1938- 2020 Bill McKinney (Kern) 1931-2011 and Jack Starrett (Galt) 1936-1989) as well
@@scottknode898 Yeah. Brian Dennehy did pass Recently

Love this song....a little sad song for a lonely war vet....but his determination to survive 👍👍💪
Thanks for posting ❤️
These good ole days are never coming back
Best badass movie ever made.
apart from the second one
Josh Peterson new one coming and is last one
Its a long road... very long...
Blue B b
Niels Christiansen yeah, but first blood felt more “realistic” A survival movie
When I drove across the country to start college, after getting out the Army, this was the first song I played. Good song, brings back memories.
I did the same thing after I got home. Nothing made sense for me anymore.
I miss the road sometimes.
Stallone played Rocky and Rambo with integrity, honesty and heart and soul...legendary
I can't believe they didnt use this song in RAMBO:LAST BLOOD at the end!!! Love this theme!
They played the music as instrumental music at the end of Rambo in 2008 when Rambo is walking home.
@@scottknode898 masterpiece too !
@Dean Kish Totally agree

I can’t believe they used this song at all.
This series never gets old. Absolute depiction of reality
He was on steroids
I am crying, it is along road, but we never give up. Rambo, not only Rambo
*Rambo sempre vai ser o melhor*
Exatamente mano
Saw Rambo: Last Blood earlier today and boy was it a damn awesome treat!
Last Blood was a huge let down
The character should have went back to rhe original town and daced off again with Brian dehenny
I think Brian's Rambo character would had to have been pushing 90 by the time Last Blood happened, lol. Even if still alive, I kinda doubt he'd have been much of a threat.
You'd probably needed to have done a 'Rambo goes back to the original town years later' kind or movie about 25 years ago.
great video!
This movie was absolutely epic. I loved sitting back with a few beers watching this movie. Such a classic!!! Filmed in Hope B.C. Beautiful little town
A great song, "First Blood" is one of Sylvester Stallone's best performances outside of the Rocky franchise! His performance in "Copland" is great as well, should have been Oscar nominated!
Copland indeed too.
The 80s was the last decade America was America. They had the best music and also the best movies. Back then people had a sense of humor. Nowadays everybody is at each others throat. I wish I could go back to the 80s
When we talk about movies, I think 90's could be equaled with 80's
Hard agree. But the date was 2019.
I was born in the 00’s but I agree knowing how it was back in the 80’s. Most of the new music is bad and takes no skill
"I can't get it out of my head. A dream of seven years. Everyday I have this. Sometimes I wake up and I don't know where I am. I don't talk to anybody. Sometimes a day - a week. I can't put it out of my mind. "
That part always gets me emotional. A guy who got emotionally torn up from his service to his country
This is such a good movie. Sly’s a legend. This movie shows very well how vietnam vets came home shellshocked, and of course how bad some of them were treated. Thank you for your service.
i love this movie !! greetings from germany
Rambo forever!! Thanks Stallone. You're my inspiration.
After watching the Last Blood and I come back to this, he is home, for good.
Rambo 1 was a masterpice and UNDER ESTIMATED FILM...
Not Rambo 1 but "First Blood".
I've got patients who were Vietnam vets. Their experience wasn't no joke. They have my utmost respect.
Sou brasileiro o Rambo marcou minha infância,hj com quarenta anos assisti novamente como em várias ocasiões.sempre me emociono , Sylvester Stallone sou fã demais monstro como ator.
I love the Rambo films. Sylvester Stallone is my idol.
Hello from Russia, I also love the first film, a real social drama, a masterpiece.
This is the first movie we played when we bought our first VCR player back in 1984.
It was the legendary movie of my childhood. My biggest dream was to go to the town of Hope, where that movie was made. I still dream because it is a beautiful town.
Stallone is 'a legend' . . . 🎬🎥👌
First Blood is timeless and i thought Last Blood carries on such a unique blueprint 🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹

I can still feel 80s, the time when i was a kid that this movie came. Best of times in Pakistan.
You use another pic
I love this video. It cuts your heart in two.
“You could use a friend “
0:45 sings dan hill as gaults eyes are gauged out 😂😂😂☠️
I played this song on my way to Sacramento with the Scenic route and it’s so beautiful the music goes well with road trips.
Grow up with this movie.saw it today after a very long time. 38 years flew away so fast.
Great movie.love it.remands me of nice memories.
Great song. Rambo represents every Soldiers heart and pureness to the highest degree. Nothing but motivation.
and will of survive
Just came back from "Last Blood" and man was it a blast! A fitting farewell for John Rambo. Only one thing bothered me. He said he can get used to modern hip-hop/rap/beat music. When there are theme songs like this, one can not get used to modern music. And John, nothing is over! Nothing...
To me at least, the most fitting farewell was Rambo looking back over the highway one last time and then turning down his family farm's driveway, as the instrumental of 'Long Road' plays.
The old soldier has finally found some level of inner peace and he's finally come home.
BEAUTIFUL song true song and Dan Hill thank you
Acteur magnific pas assez reconnu... Sensible à l'extrême c un écorché vif.... Merci. Anna.
einer der besten filme der letzten 35 jahre unglaublich
one of the besteht movies ever
Great song it will always be , like Rambo it will just keep going , for me Rambo 1 was the best and the last Rambo where he is on the river boat is a great action movie , thank you
"They drew First Blood,' not me, "they drew first blood'.
They always do
Nothing is Over! Nothing! You just don't turn it off!
Luv First blood .. Alwaz on repeat in my 🏡
Yup if those cops had just left him alone then none of that would have happened.
I saw Last blood last night, thanks for sharing to review. I love it!
Don't see the glass half empty, see it half full....that's how I see this song and the greatest movie ever made! Embrace life
Sly never disappoints as far as going all out for his scenes...music always awesome think about Rocky series (his bro Frank!-great voice and was in Rocky 3-performing also in "staying alive " which was directed by Stallone!
He's massively talented!!
You know, 2008's Rambo ended the series on the perfect note. I kind of think we didn't need the one from earlier this year.
Agreed. It was a nice little treat but Rambo 4 was just so perfect.
That decade is way better than 2000-2010,
man. GREAT UPLOAD! RAMBO RULES!
Komment 8 il👏👏👏👏
Rambo thanks for giving me a great childhood growing up 🇨🇮
Gosh, I'm so happy I grew up in the 80's & 90's!! Before smartphones, internet, Netflix, excessive CGi use in movies etc. We were sharing VHS cassettes with Sly, Arnold, JCVD in crappy quality, but valued it as gold.
Best film ever Made
Uno dei film più belli della storia del cinema
Guys my name is rocky and my Dad name is Sylvester what a coincidence my Dad went to London and saw the movie Rocky and named me after that He is no more with me but I can feel his love and passion for Rocky and Rambo. Love you all.
I just quit my job today and decided to play this as I left. Wow…..quitting never felt so good ❤
Rambo has and will never be racist bad guys are bad guys and he has fought for everybody around the world I am 42 years old I saw First Blood in the theaters with my Daddy I've seen them all he's a friend and a hero to an entire generation it will be so sad when Sly's time comes and Arnold's, Hulk Hogan etc.
Who is here in 2024
Me. From Russia with Love and Friendship! Make Love - not war!
Oh wait it’s 2025
Sińce 30 yrs Till I die.. 😢
I AM "I STAND WITH JOHN J RAMBO ALL THE (WAY) NIGHT AND (DAY)"
We salute you, Mr. Stallone
First Blood will always be the best of the series,
I never get tired of watching it
Whoever composed the music or sound in First Blood man i swear i hope he won some kind of award bc the sounds in the jungle i dont even know how to describe it or what instrument it even is but it goes “da da da Da Da DUM” for suspense & then also the horns get me every single time
It's a long road
when you're on your own
and it hurts when they tear your dreams apart
and every new town
just seems to bring you down
trying to find
peace of mind
can break your heart
