Okay a couple of things...
1. I really thought I put the combs of this wig into the wig cap but I obviously didn't as it continued to slowly slip back throughout the video hahahaha I always just slap them on for when I'm filming
2. It's okay if you love palettes I hate and I hate palettes you love. Different opinions is what makes the world go around!

I am an Aries, too, and while I don't hate red shadows, it is not my favorite color, and I agree they never make an effort to create a more interesting color story than red and yellow. Just basic fire colors.
I probably was using too strong of a word with hate lol I just don’t love red eyeshadow on me unless it’s like a strawberry red but I want to see like an iridescent blue and blacks/grays in a fire palette! There’s more colors for fire/flames than red and yellow
Yes I’m Sagittarius and not feeling red and orange colors

If it helps I think the Kathleen Lights one has been discontinued 😬 it shows as sold out on their site not sure they are restocking lol

@@hijennwu it depends on what you’d get more use out of! I do colorful looks more often so I reach for the Ace Beaute palette the most but if you prefer neutrals then I’d say the Kathleen Lights palette!

What a ranking oh my goodness this had to take awhile to get all those palettes ready. I have really fallen in love with Bellabeautebar. The shimmers are breathtaking and love the color stories.
It was definitely a project! That’s still not done because I haven’t put the palettes away yet 🤣 I’m tempted to just film my declutter now since they are all out

I’m pretty new to your channel so maybe you have done it but since you mentioned ranking the viseart palettes low while always reaching for them it might be awesome to record which palettes you reach for over the year and do a standard ranking and a most used ranking and see how they compare. Especially as someone trying to not continue going overboard with buying makeup because I could never use it all I love seeing what ends up being the most practical purchases vs the shiny, new, exciting color story/ good quality but rarely used
I haven’t done that here but I did do a 10 most used palettes for 2022 on TikTok! That is a good idea though I can bring that in this year 🥰

I am shocked on how everyone is ranking the ace beaute palettes, I bought one and it was horrible, but it is the old formula. I just do not want to buy from a brand like that, but too many good brands to look back.
I want to try Simply Posh cosmetics in 2023.
I just am not happy with the adept eyeshadow palettes I bought, the shimmers crease, no matter what I use.
Unfortunately indie brands are starting to dupe themselves a lot of these special shades are not so special.
Totally agree the special shades are starting to be duped across all indie brands now! It’s just hard to make new/innovative makeup when there is so much makeup coming out! That’s such a bummer Ace Beaute and Adept didn’t work out for you!

I don’t remember which video of yours mentioned the adept shimmers how they are messy but you love them, what is your favorite product to use to make them stick? I heard Nyx glitter glue is good, what do you love and recommend?
Any sort of glitter glue should work! I really like the Karla Cosmetics fix potion because I have less creasing with that one than I do with the Nyx glitter glue but if you don’t have issues with creasing the Nyx glitter glue is great and a really good price!

@@ayceleijae if you use that one do a super thin layer and keep your eyes closed for a bit after you apply to give it a chance to dry and then I don’t have any creasing with that one 🥰
I don’t like red eyeshadow either, I see so many yellows throughout these palettes, do you get along with those tones? I never really see anyone use yellow, I feel like I’d look ugly in it.
I don’t mind yellow! I use it more as a pop of color on the inner corner or use it to blend out green but I rarely do an all yellow look 😊

Did your shimmers in the Halloween unearthly palettes all hold up okay? Centuries in my warms my blood and glamour in my the weirdos both dried up! I noticed when Battybean was doing her declutter and tried to swatch hers 😔. I want to get the 1964 when/if she rereleases them but I’m a little nervous!
Thats weird. I have older & newer palettes & never had shimmers in them dry up. Maybe they hard panned? Try using a piece of tape to remove the top layer.
@@sandyandchance I’ve been a makeup addict for years. Hard pan I’ve dealt with and I’ve never seen anything like this. Absolutely nothing comes up when I swatch it at all. The shadows were super creamy and soft and are literally hard as a rock now. I’ve tapped on them with my acrylics and it did not leave even a single dent
Omg that’s crazy! I’ve only ever had that happen with a gel product like the infinite chrome flakes from Danessa Myricks! I haven’t had any issues with my Unearthly palettes yet but I did pat my super oily shades with a paper towel to soak up the excess oil so maybe that helped? Although I also feel like that should’ve dried them out faster
@@megansellke Such a shame. I'll be watching comments on videos to be aware for it in case something changed with their formula. I think my most recent purchased was the mystery box & Bunnies.
those two shades had issues from the manufacturer. i’d submit replacement requests if you haven’t yet! x
