  • Our West Baden Springs Hotel Tour: The Atrium, Restaurants, Pools, Springs, & Sunken Garden
The West Baden Springs Hotel in Indiana is an amazing property, in looks, amenities, and history. We have stayed here and visited a few times, and always enjoy coming back to see it again. On this trip, we didn't stay at this hotel, but we did spend the day in French Lick, Indiana, going between here and the French Lick Springs Hotel. We hope you enjoy seeing what this hotel has to offer, and we also included a link in this video to another video we made when we visited here during Christmastime. It is especially beautiful during December, with a giant Christmas tree set up in the middle of the Atrium. We had a great time re-visiting the West Baden Springs Hotel, and thank you for watching!

The Jewel of Indiana! In my opinion, the most beautiful man made attraction in all of Indiana, compliments of the Cook Group. Much thanks for this stunning architectural masterpiece! ❤❤

It is an incredible structure, and its design has stood the test of time. You can’t believe you’re seeing when you do see it for the first time.

I grew up outside of French Lick and went to Springs Valley High School there. My sister graduated with Larry Bird and my two youngest brothers graduated with Larry's youngest brother. Larry was my P.E. Assistant. I worked in the entertainment business for several years as Country artist & actor, Nathan Osmond (son of 70's Teen Idol Alan Osmond and Nephew to Donny & Marie Osmond) Manager. When I brought Nathan to nearby Jasper, Indiana to do promotional work with Hedinger Beverage (Home of Dad's Old Fashioned Root Beer), I took Nathan sight seeing in Southern Indiana, spend time with my sweet parents and of course I took him to the West Baden Hotel. Keep in mind, Nathan is a guy who has traveled the world over ever Since he was a baby but when he got out of the car, his jaw dropped. Then when we walked into the Atrium his jaw dropped again! As we waked around we ended up where the beautiful black grand piano was located on the opposite side of the main entrance and about 50 yards from the giant fireplace, Nathan stopped. Nathan began taking piano lessons since he was just a little boy. We've toured together and I knew he was an exceptional piano player so I asked Nathan if he would like for me to see if I could get permission to remove the cover so he could play it. His BIG Osmond smile said it all. I finally found the person I needed to speak to and once I introduced Nathan as Donny Osmonds Nephew we got approval and Nathan was in Keyboard Heaven. Knew Nathan was good but I witnessed something that day that absolutely blew me away. Nathan was in a "Zone" and a crowd began to form. He would go from show tunes to Disney tunes, classical, etc... taking occasional requests without hesitating between songs. As he was playing one song and someone requested a different tune Nathan would ask, "This one?" and immediately switch gears while making each transition smooth and effortlessly. I honestly don't know how long he played but he never once stopped between songs. When we decided he should wrap it up and he played that note, I think the entire Atrium broke in to a thunderous applause. I hope you don't mind, when I saw your post that fun afternoon came flooding back and I felt the need to share! Take care & God Bless.

I bet somebody could write a scary story, like the Shining in that place.
