Oh my 😂😂😂 Putting Tazzie in that bag, so she could ride the subway with you! Taz is like, "One minute I'm outside playing in the leaves and now I'm in a bag, riding on a noisy tube thing! 😳🐶😀
"Downtown Manhattan"... proceeds to drive through Central Pak very much Uptown and make camp in the Upper East Side. Which is totally fine. Much respect regardless... im just a stickler for that detail. and got a giggle out of it.
When that Beastie boys album came out I used to come home from work everyday and my son's room was up in the attic and the whole house would be literally shaking from that album playing so loudly.. sadly my son left this world last year but I bet he's up in heaven still booming the Beastie boys album out😂😂😂 I love him so so much and miss him like you miss Blue 😢💔 Glenn Matthew forever young💔 mama misses you so so much😢

Taz has come SO far! A few months ago she would have been totally freaked out. You have done an amazing job with her. Your patience and persistence is to be commended! LOVE all of your videos!!
Just came across your channel and honestly the fact you bring your dog and allow her to enjoy the world with you is amazing. I sold everything and converted my car to start traveling with my dog but it was short lived due to her health but the little we did get to go do and see I will cherish forever. Long story short, not many people include there pets as much when traveling and the fact you do all you can to make sure she’s seeing the same as you and finding ways like with the subway… makes you one of the very few amazing people of the world. So glad I came across your channel and can’t wait to see all the adventures you 2 have!
In Japan, the trains are a million times cleaner, no crime whatsoever, and the trains are always on time. The bad part, Japanese avoid sitting next to gaijin, lol.
I'm guessing it's because she brought a dog on the subway and squeezed in next to him. The rule about dogs having to be in a bag is supposed to make sure only small dogs can ride on the subway. The bag is supposed to be a small pet carrier. Of course tons of peope abuse that loophole and put their dog in some sort of bag or giant backpack to get around the rule. Taz wasn't causing much of an issue of course, but the rule, albeit poorly written, is in place for a reason (to save space on the often overcrowded subway) so I can understand when people get annoyed by this.
Your little 'TAZ'mainian devil has really came out of her shell since you got her.. she's not as timid and shy anymore... She's such a happy dog... Your a good owner. We need more good owners out there like you. I spoil my pups too. Mines a service dog, and he goes EVERYWHERE with me...
I went to Ground Zero in 2005 and they were still clearing the rubble and still finding human remains. Agreed, very heavy feeling. And strangely, all the city noise is just deafened in that area, almost like a sound proof room, but the moment you go down a block the noise comes back. I haven't seen the completed memorial yet in person.
I was living in Manhattan on 9/11, but just had to leave the city shortly thereafter. It was just too painful in some ways. I worked in one of the buildings that fell, years before, and also across the street, just months before. I moved to Seattle, which I loved and miss, for 10 years, then came back. Still find it hard to go down there. I didn't lose anyone I knew, but we all lost them.
Literally for the past months i was not using u tube and now i saw you without Blue really makes me sad , but also happy to see your new company ❤ , i really missed watching your vlogs, especially in December your vlogs hits different, sending lot's of love and positivity to you Ria❤
Awesome! Loved the New York shots from the Empire State Building. Taz was loving it too. Taz has come so far! I love New York and miss it! Great video Maria! Keep up the GREAT work!💙
LOVE THE BESTIE BOYS!! Looked like fun, poor Taz going in the bag. Seeing the memorial for 9/11 was so sad. I watched the Towers fall, have never cried so hard in my life. Then to not hearing a singel plane in the air was so weird. Never heard such silence in the air. Am a daughter of an pilot was a day I was glade my dad had retired from flying. But as sister to two brothers that had severed in the military I worried they would have re-upped. They did not, but if they had I would have been proud. They served in a different way. Oldest brother was a cop at the time, the other a dad. To those that lost loved ones please know that they will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN by me. May the rest in peace. We must not let this happen again.
Giiiiiirrrrrlllll, LOVE Beastie Boys! I was a senior in high school when Licensed To Ill came out and have LOVED them ever since! RIP MCA!! Loved seeing you there! ✌🏼♥️
This episode was great reminder of the only time that I ever spent time in the city with my beautiful wife walked the park, did a concert in Carnage Hall, a had dinner in the Russian Tea Room great memories. Thanks for the memories kid. I love the way you love life and share it with us. Pet the Taz for me God bless and ☮️ out.
Hi Maria next time if u get parking tickets less than 5mins you can fight it,mail and write story why late less than 5mins, but there is a 5min grace rule so if it's under 5mins past the time rule you can get it dismissed. That's why the ticket officer ticketed you at 8:04 coz they also know you can fight it if you knew about 5min grace. But the ones that dont, they pay.
Maria I had to pause this video to say "You've never seen Ghostbusters?!?" 😮 I'm flabbergasted. Please at least watch it once. It's personally 1 of my fav movies ever. Now, back to video. 😊
Fun fact Maria doesn't know: The Beastie boys started as a 1st wave New York Hardcore band, originally with five and shared members with D.C. and L.A. Hardcore bands like Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Bad Brains, Cro-Mags and Minor Threat. They're also a highly accomplished jazz trio. They created _License To Ill_ as a joke, until Rick Rubin convinced them they were better rappers than they were punks.
I drive a commercial truck big rig and I wouldn’t sleep in it in New York City lol.. you are extremely brave. Just be careful and keep your eyes moving always
Thank you for showing ground zero. Being of a certain age, to me it’s more an active memorial and less a monument. The more time passes the more it becomes history, but to those who lived it the memories are still hard.
Tazzy was tazzin! lol...she is just sooooo adorable! I loved watching her excitement at being in the city...was it her 1st big city like that? I bet she loooved it! I went to Boston to watch New kids on the block, so yea, I definitely get being a "fan girl" over past boy groups...well beastie boys are rap, but still...kinda similiar...I went in 2021 (and it was my 1st trip to the east coast!)
Every time I go home to NY I have to get a big bag of bagels! My husband is from the South and didn’t understand until he had one and now he’s hooked. Pizza, bagels and Barnes & Noble! I would have been in heaven.
Looks like Taz did really well in the City!! Coming from a family of former New Yorkers, there is no better bagels or hard rolls than the City. It's the water - something about the water, IMHO, makes all the difference in the taste of the bread. We are ordering a holiday box from Katz's Deli for Christmas (remember the deli scene from When Harry Met Sally). We did it last year, and it was out of this world delicious - best pastrami ever. Anyway, looks like a fun trip! Hope some day when the trauma of what happened to you subsides, you’ll come back to my wonderful state of NJ. Some really beautiful and unique places to see. Safe travels!
I’m not sure this was the video- but when Tazz went ham on the beach- reminded me of Blu. So adorable: she’s an angle with him in it! Enjoy yourselves & all the best🙋🏼♂️ Derek
A newcomer to your channel I’m amazed at the life you gave Blue! He was so loved and cared for, a dog leaves paw prints on the heart, his are def on yours, safe travels! I might see you on the road, in the middle of a buildout.
I was a Junior when License to Ill came out and I only know “Fight For Your Right”. I do not remember their music, and I don’t think my friends listened to them. My younger sister watched their videos on MTV/VH1 all the time. Tomorrow I’ll listen to their music while I work and see if anything comes back to me. Great video, looked like lots of fun!
Whoa! I woke up Wednesday morning to a "Roaming Reckless " video notification! Dang! I missed the drop last night 😢 Oh well coffee and a shower can wait! I gotta see what Maria & Taz are up to before getting ready for work 😂😂😂
i loooove dave and johnny!!! and omg Taz has come out of her shell exponentially !!! she would have been so scared in NYC a couple months ago!! great job Ria! and good on you for not listening to people tell you to rehome her! your bond is growing so beautifully 🥹🧡 i love you guys thanks for sharing your life with us!
You have GOT to see Ghostbusters. Not only because it's great, fun and really funny movie, but because it's kind of a snapshot of what NYC was like in the early 80's, when your Beastie Boys were coming of age and Times Square wasn't nearly so commercial and flashy (well, it was flashy, but in a very different way). Rick Moranis absolutely steals the show, and it was one of Signourney Weaver's first major roles. Nice video btw, you officially slept on the streets of NYC! 🤣
As a native New Yorker, born on Staten Island... (talk about accents 😂) I lived on the upper west side for 30 years and my favorite part of living there was taking my dogs to Central Park every morining (I've had the pleasure of loving 4 dogs in that time span) CP is a huge off-leash doggie playground until 9am everyday. We would walk a 3 to 4 mile loop all over the park every day.... It was fabulous! I now live in the Catskills (with dog #4), which is also fabulous, but I do miss NYC especially Central Park. Thank you for sharing ❤
I admire your courage driving Po into NYC! You are fearless, Ria. And Taz has really become an adorable partner in your travels. She used to seem so skittish. Loved this video.
for anyone who may not know the Firehouse in New York was used for Exterior shots in ghost busters, all interior shots were filmed at a identical firehouse near downtown LA.
Your mom busted in and said, "What's that noise?" Aw, mom you're just jealous - it's the Beastie Boys! 😂😂😂❤ them Great, thanks a lot. It's going to be in my head for the rest of the night.😊
It’s very exciting you came to my town! Looks like you all had a great time, I’m so glad. New York City will always welcome you, in spite of what some people may think about it! 😂 I think you would love Brooklyn. Hopefully next time you’re in town!
I love that you’re obsessed with TBB. I was listening to them when you were be bopping on your Daddys knee. 😊but yes, they are the best, and very nostalgic for me to listen to.
Hi Maria and Tazy!! Looks like you both had a great time! I would have loved to have seen the Beastie Boys square!! Tazy was excited to see her uncles❤️. Great video ❤️🙏❤️🙏
Love you Ria and love Taz! Love your videos you are a great person❤❤❤❤ I love New York use to go with Elizabeth Taylor and we were there when 911 happened! Keep on keeping on you’re the best! I understand about Blue I just lost one of my boys a month ago. I can’t watch your videos where you lost Blue maybe one day🤷🏻♀️ I would cry so much! Thank goodness you have Taz she is so full of energy❤️❤️❤️ love you Ria take the best care always❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tazzy is thrilled a date in NYC, as a dog in a bag! What a great dog to 0lay along stay so still and quiet getting on and off the subway, interacting with all, observing Al the traffic and hubbub
Lol! I can still "rap" all of Paul Revere to this day and remember being told not to stand on the seats while singing my right to party at their 1987 fight for the right to party tour concert. (I'm that old) love your channel.
Awesome to see Beastie Boys Square!! I'm a big fan too. I was a kid when License to Ill came out and loved it. When Paul's Boutique came out I remember doing our summer trip to a small northern cabin and beach resort. I'm sure I annoyed many adults cause I would walk with my friend from the cabin to the beach carrying my JVC boombox blasting Paul's Boutique a few times a day for a week. Good to see Taz doing so well with all the lights and sounds. Didn't seem nervous at all. Good girl!
Great video Ria! My daughter and my granddaughter are heading to NYC, from Oklahoma in the morning. G. daughter is going straight to the Barnes and Noble! (After the lighting of the tree.) She is obsessed and shops there weekly, nyc store is on her bucket list.

Your fur baby sure has come out of her shell since hanging around becca and her fur baby.
I noticed that too! 🥰
Yay skye
She really has I said that too! ❤❤❤❤
I was thinking the same thing 🙏🫶
When you ate just wandering around , what camera are you using?
Wow. Mad respect for driving the defender in the city! ❤
its honestly the least difficult place she's ever been, traffic barely moves here!
I have driven my GMC conversion van there. I felt I had the advantage. I'm sitting higher and they don't want to mess with the size of the vehicle.
Oh my 😂😂😂 Putting Tazzie in that bag, so she could ride the subway with you! Taz is like, "One minute I'm outside playing in the leaves and now I'm in a bag, riding on a noisy tube thing! 😳🐶😀
You gotta watch Ghostbusters with Becca the next time you see her. That would be an epic reaction.
DO IT!

The man in red on the train side eyeing you hard as hell is killing me😭 that’s the New York City energy

He looked so pissed . 😂

He was definitely side eyeing and full of negative energy

Your dad is an absolute legend for putting you on to the Beastie Boys!
Tazzy is thrilled a date in NYC, as a dog in a bag! What a great dog to 0lay along stay so still and quiet getting on and off the subway, interacting with all, observing Al the traffic and hubbub
Your ending song is so dope. I dig hearing it every time. 🤙🏼
Lol! I can still "rap" all of Paul Revere to this day and remember being told not to stand on the seats while singing my right to party at their 1987 fight for the right to party tour concert. (I'm that old) love your channel.
Taz is getting so adaptable. She's adorable too!!! What a good girl!
Of you’re still in NY you have to stop at letchworth state park. It’s known as the grand canyon of the east. Bring microspikes it may be icy!
