FINALLY! Some one other than me giving Megill credit. Thank you! He pitched fine and I feel like we should pitch him more because he has crazy good stats against the phillies. We lost because Butto and Diaz were really bad and Sevy throwing 2 really bad pitches.
In my opinion this was a much bigger win for the Phillies than it was a loss for the Mets. Mets are waaay too resilient to let this bother them. Any time something like this happens they always come back SUPER strong 💪 LGM
I went into the series saying if we win one in Philadelphia that’s a win. We got that I expected nothing more and am disappointed because this team keeps pulling off miracles and giving us hope. Win both came at Citi and keep moving. LFGM!

Mets kept the pressure on the Philly whole game. Plus Mets don't need to go over 9 inning. Philly supposed to win at home. Mets winning two games at Citified, way better.
Im a Phillies fan, but i have to admit that no matter who ends up winning this series, it's great for the game of baseball. I really dont think that there are any other teams throughout any and all sports that hate each other more than the phillies and the mets do, and it's just great to watch
I wouldn't say they blew it. They took 1 game. They have been on the road for a while now. I don't think most of us expected them to get both games in Philly. We are in a good spot right now.
Why does Mets management think Megill is a starter? I think the team has done a great job handling their pitching, overall, but I'm not seeing him as a starter at all.
