just bought that thing for my 7 year old. were having great fun with it at our own pace as i myself did not have any experience with synthesis. your series helps a lot! thank you and keep it up...
Great vid man. What really comes across is what an organic process analogue synthesis is. I’ve had a lovely, lazy Sunday morning watching your videos in anticipation of buying a 2S next month, peace ✌️
Your videos really help me understand my minibrute, and synthesis, much better. Thank you! I also vote for a crystal higher-pitched patch video for the future.
It was nice to see you add the modulations one by one then make them work together. Now looking forward to another multi-pitch sequence demo with the Drumbrute and one without it where MB2S is also doing drums. Or maybe a more reasonable request would be for one on sample and hold possibilities.
Waiting for my mb2s to arrive! Subbed cause of this video series - what a nice change in the end! Really delicious bass. Hope you do Lotus of mb2s videos! Also looking forward to seeing it playing with eurorack and the digitakt!
@@OscillatorSink But again, have been lurking on the Digitakt since it came out - I'll settle with an in-depth guide on how to pair it up with the mb2s in different ways! !O!
i love this patch. Very Boards of Canada-ish. Lots of modulation and constant moving .... now, i love my Minibrute 2S, I get monster bass from it, nice leads, but i would appreciate if you would do a patch that is some kind of clear "crystal" or metal arp in the higher register - going for "raindrops" kinda sound and failing recently.
Arturia really refined the sound on this second generation - just good solid, good sounding oscillators, filters and amps. Makes it a lot easier to build nice sounding patches when the fundamentals are already right.
For sure. I kinda use the first third of the knob like a time machine kinda - turn up to get more nostalgic and vintage sounding. I should do a video where I push it into noisy chaos territory - it's definitely still there, just not until right at the end of the knob!
Yes, I will be, but not quite yet as need a little longer to really get "intimate" with tracks 3 and 4. But there's a lot of really exciting stuff to talk about - it might be a series of videos in fact!

That's amazing and what a lucky kid - it's a fantastic synth to learn on (while also sounding really great!)
Subscribed because of this series, plus there is so much more I didn’t expect on your channel. Great work! Keep the MiniBrute 2s vids coming!
Welcome to the channel!
This is super fun to watch/listen to you find your way through this. I just picked one of these up and this series has been super helpful.
Yesss! I hope you're enjoying your new synth!
I've been noodling around on my MB2 for a couple of weeks now, I learned a great deal from this, thank you.
I'm learning so much from these videos! Thank you and please keep em coming!
That's great to hear! I've got a few more in the pipeline, don't worry.

Glad to help!

I'll add those to the list - although I've got some other ideas brewing too...
Awesome stuff, keep it up. I made it through about half of your bass tutorial before I got lost in the brute sauce
Thank you! You've got to add a bunch of brute sauce when you're making a bass - the recipe demands it.
It's really helpful video. Thank you a lot
Thanks for watching!

Oh no! Do I have to buy eurorack now?!

I think I may be revisiting the Minibrute next month actually...
i hear some addNto(x) too
Nice and full

Yes, it definitely sounds more refined, and the Brute factor seems smoother indeed.

Just watched this after getting my own MB2S. Lovely stuff. You were sooo aching to play that Autobahn riff weren’t you? 😂
Could you do a video on just the sequencer?
Yes, I will be, but not quite yet as need a little longer to really get "intimate" with tracks 3 and 4. But there's a lot of really exciting stuff to talk about - it might be a series of videos in fact!
👍👍
👌
Great video except the voice is so quiet and whispery compared to the the synth
Can’t hear your voice over the synth
OK sorry
