Super Counters are not RNG, it’s a frame perfect counter that has a very short cooldown in between button presses to prevent getting a counter via button mashing
Yet everyone except me can pull it off consistently while I have a 50-60% success rate . God help me. I would say it’s impossible to actually time it in the middle of regular rush attacks, you just gotta press and hope to god it times well. Trying it in the beginning or after vanishes is probably slightly easier to time. I am in B now and everyone does super counter and I can’t get a rush combo off. Honestly I am having less and less fun now .

I don’t know if anyone has already found this out but if you go into Sparking mode, you can spam R1 or RB to teleport infinitely around your opponent without dragon rush. As far as I know, it works with every character.
Ive never seen it used by anybody else in combat but you can switch characters at the end of a combo so you can aggressively switch rather than waiting for your opponent to give you breathing room. Its called a chase change in training mode.
I never really realized how much just the normal square combo did til now , no wonder I'm always dead. In this game you don't lose to players you lose to characters.

Have you checked the Player 2 battle assist controls to make sure they’re off - seems to be on semi by default and online seems to apply all player 2 settings if you’re not the “host” 6:12
Super Counters are not RNG, but they are very specific timing for the input so it's not something you can easily react to. You have to time your input just as you're being hit, but It's only about a 4~ frame window you have to do your input.
If its not rng then mashing it should seal the deal what is not the case. If I would put a 100 click in 0.1 second mash macro that is rapidly spamming that input then I should be able to super counter every hit immediately in the second i get hit. And I'm pretty sure that is not the case. Cause if people on PC would already cheat like that

If you press Z vanish too early you lock yourself out of being able to use it again. There's no reason to think Super counter's work any different, that if you mis-time an input you aren't able to just "spam" it to retry, you'd have to wait for the next opportunity. Meaning it is still, just a very precise input timing that if you miss, you don't just get to spam to try it again.
One thing I do that I see almost nobody else doing; Is double tapping jump/ascend to quickly go up. It is a good way to get a quick transformation/fusion and can be good to escape an offensive player that doesn't have much ki left as they can't chase you as easily.

Btw afro you're doing the clash thing wrong. You have to press the button indicated when the circle closing in reaches the button. You're mashing immediately it happens so if the opponent times theirs right youll be at a disadvantage in the mash off I think

Hey bro, from the previous BT 2 and 3 series and this game I've noticed that to launch an Ultimate (strike or blast) you've gotta make sure the opp is stunned. That means their time for a recovery is longer than the time you need to activate and throw the Ult. I.e., after a vanishinf attack you can block or dodge with block button spam. So for an Ult to land after a vanishing attack you need to reinstate your attack with another dragon homing or whatever by pressing triangle to teleport and whack him away to activate the Ult. You can do that in combo as long as you make sure it is NOT thrown after an auto combo, i.e., by doing another smash attack/dragon homing etc. That's also the case after a grab, which you can combo with D.H/smash att. P.S, W videos so far I'm getting my share of fun with your content bro
Also actionable after a charged uppercut or charged turnaround. Your character will just step back and throw the Ult without the opp having the possibility of dodging. I think they can throw a barrier or whatever if they get the timing right, but need skill points for that. So try make them spam revenge counter and then they're out of S.P
If you want gogeta to be stronger you need to do the hard fusion, you start with gt goku and fuse during battle. You get more health damage and defense.
Wasn't expecting to see Janemba, Og Broly, and Bojang all in a fusion video but I'm glad to see Janemba looking good because whenever I pick the game up he'll probably be my main And yeah the afterimage strike availability is a game flaw if it's not nerfed I feel like the weaker characters could benefit from it and just give stronger characters the single afterimage and instant transmission same concept goes for the max meter moves Or maybe just add even more iconic moves to characters movesets instead of everyone having meta shit
bit of info, the super counter only has 4 frames of leniency. You can either push up and square (or respective button for console) at the same time with the hit or hold up and press square at the time you need

Tbh for super counters the best way I found doing them if your getting constantly attacked is if you get hit slowly (like broly or most base form characters). You should time your super counter while if your getting hit a lot (gogeta etc) it’s better to spam it because there’s a bunch of hits in one of his square combos
From what I’ve heard, super counters are just really hard to do. Because it’s only a 4 frame window that you have for it to even work, and mashing square doesn’t work with it either because it has some kind of cooldown built in. Plus it’s the only way to get out of taking back shots.

Btw afro you're doing the clash thing wrong. You have to press the button indicated when the circle closing in reaches the button. You're mashing immediately it happens so if the opponent times theirs right youll be at a disadvantage in the mash off

Hey bro, from the previous BT 2 and 3 series and this game I've noticed that to launch an Ultimate (strike or blast) you've gotta make sure the opp is stunned. That means their time for a recovery is longer than the time you need to activate and throw the Ult. I.e., after a vanishinf attack you can block or dodge with block button spam. So for an Ult to land after a vanishing attack you need to reinstate your attack with another dragon homing or whatever by pressing triangle to teleport and whack him away to activate the Ult. You can do that in combo as long as you make sure it is NOT thrown after an auto combo, i.e., by doing another smash attack/dragon homing etc. That's also the case after a grab, which you can combo with D.H/smash att.

Also actionable after a charged uppercut or charged turnaround. Your character will just step back and throw the Ult without the opp having the possibility of dodging. I think they can throw a barrier or whatever if they get the timing right, but need skill points for that. So try make them spam revenge counter and then they're out of S.P
If you want gogeta to be stronger you need to do the hard fusion, you start with gt goku and fuse during battle. You get more health damage and defense.

And yeah the afterimage strike availability is a game flaw if it's not nerfed I feel like the weaker characters could benefit from it and just give stronger characters the single afterimage and instant transmission same concept goes for the max meter moves
Or maybe just add even more iconic moves to characters movesets instead of everyone having meta shit

bit of info, the super counter only has 4 frames of leniency. You can either push up and square (or respective button for console) at the same time with the hit or hold up and press square at the time you need

Yeah I caved today…ss4 gogeta is one of my all time favorite characters, but I also love kid buu. Been maining kid buu in singles and then today…shit got chalked. After 4 hours I started running into only ss4 gogetas, full power jirens, both Ui goku’s, ss1 vegito and a lot of other characters with after image strike…and I got annoyed af after deranking from B3 to B5 so I whipped ss4 gogeta myself and got back to B3 and got off

First 2 days I didn’t even do ranked lol. I got to B3 in a day, doesn’t mean I’m a masher either I understand all the defense mechanics and other tricks/mechanics bro. Tbh for super counters the best way I found doing them if your getting constantly attacked is if you get hit slowly (like broly or most base form characters). You should time your super counter while if your getting hit a lot (gogeta etc) it’s better to spam it because there’s a bunch of hits in one of his square combos
From what I’ve heard, super counters are just really hard to do. Because it’s only a 4 frame window that you have for it to even work, and mashing square doesn’t work with it either because it has some kind of cooldown built in. Plus it’s the only way to get out of taking back shots.
