I honestly don't get what all the fuss is about the screaming. I think the dark mood of the song fits perfectly with the tone of the game. Also, how on Earth are these screams "bad"? I think Siegman did a damn good job on this track.

The "kill them all" and "I did it all for you" etc are direct references to when maxis committed suicide in front of Samantha, asking her to fulfill him one last promise, "Kill them all" (in reference to 935). Its honestly brilliant how all of these songs tell the story of zombies. Carrion for example is 100% from the perspective of a zombie.

I know I’m a little late, but this is one of my favorite Zombies songs. The soul-crushingly low and crunchy distorted guitars, the brain-scramblingly complex and fast drum patterns (like Meshuggah’s “Bleed”, only somehow even better and more difficult to perform), and the excellence of Elena’s voice gracing the absolutely destroying instrumentals. It is a perfect, complete masterpiece of a song.
