- Our trip is getting cose to the end so we traveled in our motorhome back towards Belgium, in search of our last Christmas Market on this trip.
Unfortunately we witness some awful behaviour that could cause authorities to clamp down on European vanlife

Just a thought but I wonder if the dump point was used by a coach rather than a motorhome. Brugge is one of the most popular destinations for short coach trips so us motorhomers might be completely innocent? It struck me that with that amount of toilet paper that was one seriously over full cassette😷
I did actually consider that, it could be the case, it looked like it had been used several times though… and the smell 🤮

I agree. Definitely a coach. We stayed at this Aire in September and the waste dump is easily accessible so no need for a motorhome to use the drain near to the ticket machine. Disgusting none the less.

Another great vlog. We were in Brugge on Sunday on our way back from Kolne. You were so lucky with the seasonal weather, it peed down while we were there!

@@redsgotravels we are so lucky to live here in Cornwall but have actually just converted a van into a campervan so we can travel around and see so many of the stunning places we keep seeing on here, just need to get ourselves out there and start seeing, work always seems to be an obstacle but next year we are aiming to get away for sure, we are keen to see Wales and the lake's and at some point Scotland 🤔🤔

We agree with you about people emptying their loo in the drain . It is disgusting! We were on a campsite a couple of years ago and I witnessed someone emptying theirs down the grey water drain next to the drinking water tap because the elsan point was a lot further to walk. I did mention it at reception. People can be so selfish and lazy!!

Been to that aire several time's and will be back in feb, ideal for a stroll along the river and easy into the centre of Bruges, and the first stop in Germany was cracking for a night ehu thrown in for good measure, anyway another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍

I think it’s the coaches emptying their toilets on that parking next to the aire in Bruges, we saw a lot of them doing it when we were there in October.
🤮 horrible, at least make an attempt to clean it up 😬 but on the bright side, Brugge is beautiful isn’t it ! ❤️❤️🎄 thanks for watching and commenting xx

We are currently on the aire by the marina in Brugges and it’s relatively quiet. On our last trip here we saw coaches emptying in the drain where you were, I don’t think it’s motorhomes doing the emptying.

@@redsgotravels there is a camp site across the river from the city centre. Alternatively, just outside the camp site are some free parking spaces.
A nice novelty walk through the under river tunnel into the city.

Suspect its a bus dropping waste, but whoever there's no need. Brugge is an incredible place to vist, and wheen we were there last year when the upgrades to the bus area was undertaken, we got 2 days free parking. Bargain!! Surprised that dumping outside the gaurds station was allowed, but I endorse your outrage. Lovely area and superb city. Keep warm from a rainy but reasonable 15° Portugal.
