INNOVATE: Legacy & Learning Symposium | Keynote Address

Co-Director of CREATE Centre, Sydney Professor Michael Anderson and INNOVATE Research Lead from Royal Holloway, University of London Professor Helen Nicholson give a joint keynote address on 13 March 2024, and a panel discuss creativity in schools, theatres as civic places for learning, and the role of the arts in young people's lives.

About INNOVATE:
Young Vic Taking Part delivered the radical flagship Learning programme, INNOVATE, for two academic years from 2021 - 2023. The programme used the arts to teach the curriculum in two local schools and commissioned Royal Holloway, University of London, to research the findings.
Following the publication of the research report, we presented the INNOVATE: Legacy & Learning Symposium to unpack the essential findings and learnings through a week-long exploration, discussion and knowledge exchange.
