Sanctions will do nothing. Ukraine needs tanks, choppers, ground forces and support from its allies. While government sir in offices with a pen in their hands screaming sanctions there are people who have guns pointed at them and their children and the shooters don't care about your sanctions. The US, Canada by proxy, won't do a thing on the ground. They don't actually care much about Ukraine. They provoked this to force Europe to wean itself off Russian energy dependence because all prior attempts have failed and that dependence was growing. If the US cared about maintaining peace they never would have sabre rattled about Ukraine NATO membership. That was never a path to stability.

Russian invasion is justified no matter how horrible it seems to invade a nation, the casualties. Ukraine should've stayed neutral. Imagine the US's reaction to Russian Misses in Cuba, Mexico or anywhere NEAR the US just as US wants to do to the Russian Federation.The whole point of Ukraine joining NATO is so that US can put missles even closer to Russian borders. Actually, the solution is simple. Only Nato and European countries can stop this war. Give in to Russia request and stop expanding Nato near its border. If everyone wants a security guarantee, then discuss making a new agreement that benefits everyone. Stop the war. Especially G7 countries they not helping the situation. Instead making it worse for Ukrainians. Don't use Ukraine as your pawn against Russia. In the end, innocents people become victims. Start dialogue with Russia and bring them back to the peace table.
