Hello hello, what’s up everyone, I have some big news, I’ve been working tirelessly for months now, pouring my heart and soul into something a lot of you have been requesting in the comments section for months. I’m thrilled to announce the release of my full CSS course, which is now available on my website slayingthedragon.io.
This is a full course on CSS, we go over everything: fundamentals, typography, the box model, CSS Units, Flexbox, responsiveness, advanced responsiveness, adaptive layouts, backgrounds, images, animations, positions, CSS Grid, CSS variables, advanced concepts like how to think in CSS, how to organize your code for production, and so so so much more!
The course aims to respect your time, be quick and concise and above all else - it aims to take you from an absolute beginner in CSS - to an absolute wizard.
The individual lessons in the course are all - extremely short. This is on purpose as I’ve tried my best to present the lessons as concisely as I possibly can. The entire course is only about 8 hours long because so much effort was put into making each and every single lesson concise.
The course has a total of 6 projects, in the first project you’ll be building this little card component, and by the end of the course, for the final project, we’re rebuilding the entire homepage of my website slayingthedragon.io. So you go from building this little card component, to building this entire homepage.

Champ, I have not gone to school to learn anything about web design or development. Everything I have learnt is right from youtube. I have seen several tutorial from several RUclipsrs and they know what they are doing. For you, you know what you are doing, and WHY it is the way it is. It shows clearly from how you explain your methods. You don't only show what works, but show what would not work and possible errors that may arise what is done or not done.
I have just gone through an 11 hour tutorial and queued a javascript tutorial from one of great youtube channels that teach development but I want to hold on for while and wait for your JavaScript course. I want to learn it from you. I believe that learning from you would do me a great favour: I will learn the right practices, and not only know what works, but why it does as well.
I just want to know how long it will take for your javascript tutorial to come out

Suggestion: Atleast make one video free for preview under each topic like flexbox, css grid, rather for preview all the initial videos all together.. Hope you got my point

There are a lot of free courses available on youtube you learn from them I have learnt alot in just one month and created videos on channel ... believe me paid course is not essential.

Nothing is free anywhere. Even RUclips charges you a fee everytime you watch their content. They either serve you ads or you pay up a subscription.

mind me asking a presale question? I went through a full stack bootcamp and I am decent at the javascript side but the CSS was glossed over and I feel no mastery of it.
using your materials, how many 1 hour sessions would it take to learn and work through all the lessons?
I work best when I break tasks up into 50 minute pieces.
I am looking for a realistic estimate for a user that is already lightly familiar with coding. thanks!
I honestly don't know. The length of the course is 14 hours, so technically speaking it would take you 14 one hour sessions if you just watch and don't practice. However you'll probably want to practice and build some of the projects yourself, and then watch me build them, and so, it'll probably take more than 14 one hour sessions. But you're also not a total beginner so, its too difficult to guess. The most valuable information for you is that this is not one of those 50+ hour courses that never end. This course is concise, there's no word salad, it's all 14 hours of productive lessons. I don't think there's even one "umm" in the entire course. I hope this helps
@@slayingthedragon it does help thank you. I am looking to feel more confident in building layouts and have them work as expected. I can code okay with JS but css is my worst least confident part of the full stack experience. Thanks for the insight and explanation.
