Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!

Most recipes elsewhere are very straightforward and there are a lot of people who don't know they can play with the ingredients. I also appreciate how you stress about the different air fryers in our homes so that we can adjust our cooking time as needed.

I made this for dinner tonight along with the recipe for Japanese style potato croquettes, absolutely delicious. I kind of pulled back on the amount of chicken stock I used - Because I thought the amount listed was too much. But I was wrong. Next time I make them I will use the full amount. It was very delicious anyways. Thanks for sharing.
