My friend is an HR manager at a huge firm. She has been told to remove all the resumes that have elite schools. For the last 5 years they have been hiring from state colleges or even 2 year schools. The higher ups know the value of working your way through college or starting at a two year school etc

Sure, in-classroom education is different than online, because there is usually no pause or rewind button. And somehow all professors in classroom have this out of the world ability to make you doze off even after 2 cans of Redbull.

I have experience with this. I don't have a bachelor's degree and have been disqualified for positions because of it, even though I actually was qualified. So some idiot who knew nothing about the job, but had that degree, would get the position, and the results showed it.

I find " online Education " is as good as attending a major university B.S. A friend of mine is a Economics teacher and he said " in the classroom" is vital !!!

Hi Megyn. To me everyone wants to be useful. Everyone wants to be inspired regardless of race and education. I totally agree that you don’t want to over pamper your employees. Pay and responsibility is a two-way street. You want all the perks, you have got to prepare to work as well. That’s my take.

I wouldn't pay to go to school to learn how to flip burgers. For the simple reason those jobs will be deleted by robots in the near future. They do need to find their own path and that's okay.

I agree that the stimmy checks caused low Labor participation, but there are a multitude of reasons why people are not returning to the labor force. My personal reason is that my company got stimmy checks of $1.2 million and at the same time cut salary person's pay by 1/3 and hired a boss over me. I was released from duty and that person no longer works there. When people get free money dumb shit happens. Everyone wants you to be a slave for a mere $15 an hour. Even skilled jobs like mine they want to offer peanuts while the salary people and in corporations, the execs, make the dough.
