Thanks for the great review! I was debating whether to buy the milk maker, but the blender method will work just great for what I want. Again, thank you so much, Jess!
I've been looking for info regarding these products. Thank you. You help me make a decision not to spend unnecessary money. What i would like to know is that there is a step by step video making soy milk. This is new for me.
I found it you cook it on slow cook it doesn’t stick to the bottom. That’s my main reason for not cooking it on the stove- it always burns or sticks to the bottom on me!
Here’s my recipe how to do it! wildveganflower.com/fermented-potatoes/ I typically reuse the leftover brine for the liquid portion of vegetable broth! I make homemade vegetable broth from my veggie scraps and use my brines or aquafabas for the liquid portion
Simmer for 10 minutes at least, it helps it get creamier and make it easier to digest. I’ve simmered the milk for 30 minutes for an extra thick milk when baking and had a great result

The soy bean pulp left is OKARA. The okra is a specific vegetable sth between pepper and cucumber. I LOVE IT by The way.
I’m worst with spelling 😩😆 you are absolutely correct!
This was very helpful. Thank you! 💜
Thanks! I already have Vitamix and instant pot - looks like I’m all set!
Thanks for this video, I really enjoyed it! I have 2 soymilk makers that are collecting dust for at least 20 years.
Thanks for such an indepth review! What is the shelf life for the blender soy milk? Thanks!
Any time! The milk is good for up to 1 week
Hi! What settings (time and temperature) do you use on the Instant Pot for the blender recipe?
Have you tried to "boil" the milk in the vitamix? What temperature does the milk have to reach? Thanks.
It needs to get to 212°F (100°C)
Isn't it hard to clean the instant pot after boiling the soymilk in the insert?
