We do not need a change in Leadersip Hon Member. We need a change in Attitude from every Citizen. Leadership changes have been happening since Independence. What good has it done?
Mm I beg to differ, for instance, instinctively humanity over centuries have thrust their attitude/values and demeanor on the leadership qualities possessed by a Leader. Therefore, if a leader has a altruistic attitude then the majority (us) will follow suite for a better future. Take a look at Hilter and the jews, how could they change their attitude over a tyrant, a change of leadership was paramount for true change. Must look deeply into history and not be dogmatic.
@@ccl9139 Yes, a leader that posseses the right attitude would be able to influence a better spirit within their people. In our case we put all the expectations on our leaders to make the positive changes without trying to make positive changes ourselves as a people. Let's not sugar coat it, the majority of us have an attitude problem. And history has shown in PNG that changes in leadership alone cannot be the only driving force behind our positive National progress. Proper Leadership is key yes I agree. That leadership needs to focus on inspiring such a positive change in our people. We all as a people need to positively contribute where we can. We cannot just wait to be spoon fed by our elected leaders all the time. Which begs the question. Why is their poor leadership in our country in the first place. I do not think they got there on their own. They worked with people as corrupt as they were, in a system as corrupt, with voters as corrupt. Hence they were mandated. So is it all the Leader's fault or are the people also to carry some blame?
@@jeremyloyam7094 I don't think you have full comprehension of your argument nor the scope of the current delimma. 44 years of deeply rooted corruption causes disruption in the evolution of society thus causing "attitude problem". The political display you see is known as totalitarianism, ruled by a political ideology of tactical Marxism hence the crude display of the continued power struggle of which is continually fueling our delimma. A new radical reformist Prime Minister will have the acumen to change this country because without a true leader theirs no vision and without a vision = attitude problem.

I am a supporter of PNC Party for many years. Iam from PO's Electorate and naturally I wanted him win and be called upon by the GG to form the next Government. Many of us are quite dumbfounded and disappointed with this election and as always PO and his mob are now quick to blame the other side, blame Pangu and of course blame the PNGEC. I have watched this election; the voting and the counting, following every PNC Candidate in each electorate. Lets not be fooled, PO is the one to be blamed squarely for the failure of PNC Party in this election. The BIG problem with PNC was in the selection process of each candidate. There was a lot of stupid guess work that went into to selecting the right candidate for each electorate. Look at the tally in the counting rooms and they will speak for themselves. For example; in more than10 Electorates, we noticed the leading candidate was up to around 6000 votes while the PNC candidates were wheeling around the 100 votes or less! Who did the research on this electorates? I bet PO approved these candidates based on sheer guess work. The quality of candidates for many districts were pathetic to say the least. PO, an advise for you "Not anything goes, Quality matters and now you know." There were old names, lapun figures; taim blo ol pinis and PO is day dreaming in modern PNG. Who put up these people? The bottom line is; PNC has lost this election, PO need to resign and give the party to an able man and move on. This party's guesswork has cost the election and PO is the one to blame. Wamne, mi tok tru na yu step down.

We need harsh punishment for those perpetrators. People of PNG need to fear the force of law to obey. Common sense in not common anymore.
Absolutely. We need greater committment to Justice.
