    Yes, the Golden Years
    - When Peter was simple-minded, but his heart was in the right place
    - When Lois was the nurturing, caring and loving mother/wife and family anchor
    - When Brian was the straight-man/voice of reason
    - When Chris & Meg where just quirky teenagers
    - And when Stewie was just a straight evil genius

It all made sense from early seasons in a way.
Peter became an alcoholic and lost brain cells and got repressed memories.
Louis got back to her promiscurity roots.
Chris got the nudy mags and started whacking and getting lazier but still smart or at least witty.
Meg was insufferable and got her just deserts. Peter even says it a bit during early seasons threatening her.
Brian booze and culture changing. Plus he tried coke and got some spark back into his life.
Stewie said in that real life griffins "wouldn't it be weird if i turned out to be a homosexual". Also forgot about killing Louis for being a baby i.e. maturing a bit.
The rest of the dominoes fall after that.

@@777Rowen just got a notification for this haha. Thanks for answering :3 I turned 23 just yesterday! Do you have a Tumblr or Twitter? And what anime is your avatar from anyway? I hope you have a lovely day, miss. I certainly can relate and have always connected better with people older than me.

@@seronymus Happy belated birthday! 🍰 🥳 🎉 I hope you had a wonderful celebration. I don’t use Twitter, don’t have Tumbler, and the anime my pic is from is called Yu-Gi-Oh from a character named Ryou Bakura. I’d recommend the anime Yu Yu Hakusho if you haven’t seen it. But I am here on RUclips. I make cat videos and teach Braille on my channel.

The cheesy Charlie’s part where peter was telling a story and he had the I ❤ Lois shirt as well as mentioning that Lois is “smart, beautiful and sexually appealing” is one of my favorite moments in the old seasons

Oh wow. This was so good. I didnt realize the beginning seasons were so funny and yet somehow wholesome (they were more of family then)

I do love these earlier seasons because their jokes are not that aggressive compared to the present seasons and also they have more story based episodes and some heart to it.
