Went back and rewatched it. This would look awesome if he did midnight purple rips on top of the carbon fiber panels, making it look like the midnight purple is ripping away. Then on top of the midnight purple, have smaller tears of fake carbon peaking through. That would hit so hard!

Looks great! I spend a LOT of time on each panel post heating the wrap, especially high-stretch areas to A. Enhance adhesion and B. To see if that area lifts and it gives me a chance to re-lay it and heat the crap out of it so the adhesive has a chance to overcome the stretch.

Im surprised nobody has ever turned you on to 3Ms Primer94. It can be a wrappers best friend for areas prone to lifting.
I use it on all my edges and door handle inlays as well as creased body lines.
Glad you make these vids Sir, explaining what can go wrong and why it happens for those who are learning. The only way to get better than to learn by your mistakes. It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong....congrats Sir. Most customers have unrealistic expectations as to what this stuff can do, especially calendared materials.
And not to sound like an ass, the design behind Primer 94 is not intended to be an 'glue' on it own. It's designed as a primer (aka 'Adhesion Promoter') used to assist in adhesion of the materials existing adhesives, and 3M-Primer 94 sometimes doesn't play well with certain brands of film. Adverse effects can happen because of the varied formulations in different products. The joint will not hold for the long term if used alone, as a 'glue'.
This is what makes you so great bro….. so humble to teach us and I can only to wrap my challenger in the coming month or so solo from all your tips and tricks…. So now that i have seen you wrap the gas lid in this video better how do you cut the vinyl around it. Closer to the lid or the body or in the middle of the space between body and lid
The right way would be cutting close to the gas cap then removing the vinyl from the gas cap and rewrap it but in this case has a decal so it would be risky to lift that piece.
