Thanks brother. I really appreciate that man. I'm finding my way back for sure. That Titan is definitely a fun cooker man. BUT, those popper sammies you made???? KILLER!!!!!!!!
@@TheDawgfathasBBQ You have to make those. I ate them the next 3 days and they just got better and better. S with a little butter almost burning the bacon. Amazing flavors!!
Great video Alton. Great to hear you hook up with Pit Boss. Here's something to put a smile on your face. Wednesday I was doing video of my first cooking video. Complete fail. Why? Heck started to lafe and ran out of daylight. Sooooo lesson learned and moving on. I'll try another cook video soon weather permitting 😅. Have a great day 🌤
This is my fitst time watching your channel. My wife and I were out yesterday trying to find the titan none where we live .thankyou for this wonderful video.
Thank you for dropping by. I hope you get to view some more of my content and find value in it. And good luck on finding your Titan. Also be sure to drop by the Pit Boss Grills RUclips channel and check out our awesome cooks on the Backyard Bosses playlist.
AH-Adobo Honey seasoning off amazon and spritz with mexican coke with real cane sugar. And if you want to make your own bbq sause look up Alton Browns rib receipe ,first hour is in tinfoil and take all juices and render down in skillet for last 10 minute sauce.Peach chipotle is nice etc.
Awesome Cook Alton. You are looking Good Brother. Thank you for another amazing Video. I Need to start saving my penny's and get me one of those real cookers. 😃👍👍✌✌🍻🍻
awesome ribs. i own mny Pit bosses. the P setting i found real doesn't do much. what i found was the type of pellets i used for more smoke flavors. awesome job.
These were wrapped for maybe an hour and a half. I feel like they were wrapped a little longer than I wanted though. Do you subscribe to the 3-2-1 method?
Not necessarily. I just got an electric smoker last April. I love it. Still experimenting. I watch several RUclips channels. Obviously yours included. Keep on keepin on. Tks
Great video....sadly I live in Southern California and would love to own a Titan but they are not sold in California by either Lowes or Walmart, Pit Boss's exclusive dealers out here. I even asked an Academy dealer in New Mexico (closest to me) if they would ship one to me.....Nope.... because of the California Prop 65 law. Now if Pit Boss can jump all the hurdles for 65 Certification with their other models sold out here, they need to get off their butts on this one. This is not the one off.....some time ago I ran into the same problem with looking to be an Old Country Brovos. It comes down to the same problem, paying out for Certification on the material used in their Product......this really sucks
I'll be honest. I've never checked temps on ribs even when I first started BBQ. I'm not sure why you would need to unless you are a comp cooker and don't want to go over done? I usually do a lot of my cooks by feel. Typically when I need to check temps it would be with pork or poultry when I am trying to get close to the FDA recommended temps to keep a juicy product.
@@TheDawgfathasBBQ You're right about that PID controller too. I know a lot of people post pictures of how rock solid their temps are on their grill (Recteq folks are notorious about this...I used to be one) but it's generally the temperature variation that allows a bit more smoke to roll. As for what's next...I wouldn't mind seeing what you do with some of that meat you cut off to make sausage. That's one thing I haven't done yet but got myself a stand mixer attachment for the meat grinder and sausage stuffer. Seems like quite a bit of work but like most things I think it would pay off. Smoke on!
Nice to see you back posting... That Titan looks killer. Ribs, = MONEY!!!

It's always been said that timing is everything... I'm just finishing my first spare rib cook of the month... and this comes on. Thanx Dawgfatha!
Glad to help. lol
Those ribs looked tender AF. You can tell by how easily you cut into them
Thanks. They were definitely tender. Maybe even overcooked slightly.
Man that Titan looks like a lot of fun! Great cook.

LOL!!! Had to promote us brother.
Another great cook, bro. I’m digging that cooker.🔥🔥
Definitely a cool cooker bro. These ribs were pretty dang good man. Slightly over cooked but still GOOD!!!

Interesting take. I try not to cook with sugars too much but the crowd here loves it. Me, personally I would just go with S&P and post oak smoke. 😀
Camera quality is spot on sir. Keep em coming. We need to add some Sweet Sharlene to these Pit Boss runs lol.
Thanks brother. I struggle with camera quality at times so thank you for that.

Thanks brother! These are definitely a good cooker to add to your arsenal.
Just found you and love the videos. Started with Meat Church but loving Kosmos lately.
Welcome!
awesome ribs. i own mny Pit bosses. the P setting i found real doesn't do much. what i found was the type of pellets i used for more smoke flavors. awesome job.
Thanks for the tips! Which pellets do you use?
smokin pecan gives the most smoke and smoke flavor.. @@TheDawgfathasBBQ
Banging looking ribs bro!
Thanks brotha! Trying to keep up with you!
Even if it doesn't need it, try Duck Fat, available at HEB, as a binder. Works great on chicken and pork. Try it
Weath riles honey chipotle our go to rub love your videos and those ribs look delicious
Thanks Troy. Heath makes some great rubs as well!
Nice cook. Rubs? I use my own. Keep the videos coming bro!
I hear that. I put together a lot of my own as well. Sometimes simple is better.
Bump
This is a banger way to do ribs
You looking and sounding good dude,I started looking at you years ago with Pat Neely learning to Q
Thanks brother. I really appreciate that...
Does the aluminum foil affect the temperature?
I have had great results using McCormick's Grill Mates Sweet and Smoky.
I'll keep an eye out for that.
I am really interested in the Titan but as usual , PB ignores us up here in Canada with the latest .
I'm assuming Academy doesn't deliver there?
@@TheDawgfathasBBQ If they do , it would cost quite a bit.

I make my own cajun spice blend for my bbq.
Sounds great!
What was your internal temperature

Been waiting for you to sling some meat on this thing!! Wish I was there to smell those. They look great.

YES!!!! I like chewing on it actually. I know it is a turn off to a lot of people though.
try HEAD COUNTRY sauce and rub...I like the original....you'll like it...
Man that is one of the OG rubs too. I like the apple habanero sauce. It's a bit sweet but good.
Uncle Steve's Pig Shake or the new Magic Rub.
My go to rub has to be Meat Church rubs when I'm cooking ribs on my Pit Boss
Some of those Meat Church rubs are really good!
Where can I get Pit Boss Texas BBQ rub?? Sold out everywhere):
you should check out JK's BBQ Pit seasonings they are amazing
Favorite rub for ribs some holy gospel and finish it off with honey hog from meat church
Kosmos & Meat Church
Can't go wrong with those!
Sucklebusters Hog waller
Go to rub for me is honey bbq rub by sucklebusters. Glaze with cherry apple habanero rib glaze from kosmos q.
Suckle Busters definitely makes some great rub! And Kosmo is an OG for sure.
