Te cover art he's showing is from the 20 year anniversary Blu-ray. He's just taken the slip out and put it in a 4K cover. They've just taken screen shots of the movie and upscaled them to 4K. The supposed 4K cover is really the Australian 2011 20th Anniversary release
Noooo way this 4K is amazing thank you soooo much Moon❤❤❤❤!!!!
Where can I buy it?
Omg where is this disk i cannot find it
4K box art shows an Australian rating... but it was never released in Australia? Was this a cancelled physical release that got leaked online?
Blu-ray will do
Like others I cannot find any information about this 4K release. The upgrade is dramatic. The car interior at 7:30.
Dear Rob
Cape Fear is also available in 4K on Prime Video in the Netherlands !
MM I'm assuming the 4K disc is in Europe then?
In streaming, yes, not physical 4K !!
So is this comparison looking at the 4K stream versus the Blu Ray?
No 4K BD but very rare product unfortunately !
Is this a physical release? I haven’t heard anything about it and can’t find it anywhere.
Yeah, tried to find anything about it online but nothing.
Same here, no news on a 4k anywhere for this?!
Physical release indeed !
@@Mymoonization by whom and when is it released? Can't find any details for it anywhere?
I found a random link to it on a forum but it no longer connects. I think it was asian release.
Asian disc first world wide of a US movie and not avaliable to buy anywhere? Did have 30th anniversary 2021 but no release and 4K cover says 20th anniversary which was 2011. Pretty sure bootleg based on 4K streaming version. That one is low 15 Mb/s. Looks sharper with better colors but a tad more dnr?
other than the color and brightness, I dont see a huge upgrade
Prefer Robert Mitchum 😂
Whatever this is, doesn't look like 4k to me, it's worse than the 1080p blu ray. Is this some sorta dodgy copy as a 4k is not even released yet.? Mmm.
The resolution alone looks like a big improvement, particularly if watching on a 4k display. However, I think I can see some slight grain management in some shots. Colours looks more natural, but maybe some will think washed out.
I just watched it on a 4k OLED and still think some of the screen grabs look worse than the blu ray. As I say though, I don't think a 4k has even been released, so where is this from?@@FiftyShadesOfDave6603
