Plus Russia and North Korea also Africa and South America isn't too far stretch as potential market. I'm sure China can give some nice incentives for them.
no they can't. people forget they are dependent on imported for multiple of their tech. one more thing. if they were good, they would be southern paying to steal tech from tsmc, Apple. Intel, amd, Samsung hynix. etc. China sucks at tech

They can't, which is the hilarious irony. That 1 billion market is quite poor because the CCP has purposefully kept the value of the RMB low for decades now to keep their exports competitive, effectively making their people's purchasing power dog water level. People in China don't even buy much and rather try to pay debts off and invest in housing (a similar issue that Japan faced with balance sheet recessions). China is wholly reliant on exporting, with their domestic economy still at third world standards
@itshample3010 thats just not true on so many levels. In China roughly 700 million people now belong to the middle class, in contrast to 30 million in 2000. China is the biggest e commerce market, has 1/3 of all vehicle sales and has the largest PPP of all economies. And simce the 2010s China tries to shift even harder towards a strong domestic market akin to the US.

The aim might be a unified wireless standard, usable from ultra low power, low data like TV remotes to high speed like Wifi, also working over longer distances. Which isn't a bad idea, as we now use a number of wireless standards with lots of overlap. 5G, Wifi, bluetooth, 433MHz connecting microcontrollers and tons of proprietary protocols using 2.4GHz. We already did that with wires. USB replaced lots of different connectors, covering low data devices like keyboards as well as SSDs, now also connecting displays and replacing proprietary power plugs. It comes with some issues, but overall using just one standard for everything ended up a win for pretty much everyone.
They just have the budget for anything now. Considering they produce most of the things you and I used and that one time where they spend trillion (I forgor what they spend it on) It isn’t out of reach, that they will do these kind of thing.
Very different from everywhere else indeed, and they tell you as much about it as everywhere else , too. You do realise that the reason China is developing a lot of their own hardware is because a lot of tech is currently being denied import (microchip manufacturing very famously)?
@@potflower4136 Yeah, sanctions are normally applied to countries involved in genocide and slave labour. And it's understandable why they're having trouble importing microchips when the world's largest producer is an island they've been threatening to invade for 70 years.

As little faith as I have in China’s engineers, it’s going to be pretty hard for them to make a system worse than Bluetooth.
The ultimate firewall
So glad my tv remote can have lossless audio
Okay buddy, I'll keep waiting for that audio thing on my earbuds.
Idk I just don’t think that name is gonna work out, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth roles off the tounge quite well
China bout to become the Australia of technology
lol. It’s really just a pigeon flying pictures back and forth
Russia tried doing similar things prior to 2022 invasion of Ukraine. My Taiwan sense is tingling.
i wished more tech was open-source
Is it ediblie
This will eventually end up in some RUclipsrs hands (such as Linus Tech Tips).
That's comendable. Washington has had a streak of bullying with thier forieng policy
Welcome to never bringing a device to China if you travel!!
Now how will this worsen stalking?
What’s the catch? Chinese tech always has strings attached.
No catch gweilo, it just sends your data to the closest CCP server, no reason to worry (unless you've criticised the PRC in any way)
Amazing, it even sends all the data to your local CCP official, how kind!

Developing?😂😂😂😂😂😂 you mean stealing
It's low power, able to connect to multiple devices, AND will report every single thing you do with it to the CCP and your social credit score app!
That doesn't sound realistic. Maybe like 30 years from now, but how they claim it to be when it comes to being somehow efficient is highly doubtful.
If the lossless audio thing is real, it would be amazing for the audio space
No way it’s real. I’ll eat my hat
