Meliodas was weaker than DK Zeldris even after he came back from purgatory. In purgatory he gained a big power boost. After purgatory, his base form was much much stronger than his previous Assault Mode (when he fought Meliodas). So you can only imagine how strong he is uses Assault Mode after purgatory, and he was still weaker than DK Zeldris, while The One Escanor was equal to DK Zeldris and much stronger than him with The One Ultimate. So, Assault Mode Meliodas (before purgatory) didn't stood absoulutely any chance againt The One Escanor. He would even after the purgatory, but lot that easily. Your scaling is just bad and you don't understand all that

Escanor's flashback near the end flat out confirmed that Meliodas was even stronger than "The One", and only lost in their fight because he underestimated him (like Zeldris said, it was a bad habit of evil Meliodas). We don't know if "The Ultimate" was enough to surpass Meliodas or just to close the gap (there's no way to say, any videos using fake power levels are assumptions), but it hardly matters bc Escanor literally has to kill himself to gain that power for a couple of minutes, while Meliodas can easily be at that power level at all times, without any effort, and without hurting himself in the slightest. Pretty obvious who's stronger overall.

The One Ultimate raped the demon king when he was in the full zelris form. The One Ultimate is like 850K, while meliodas is like 700K + 300K (from plot armor), which is 1 Mil in true magic form cuz obviously hes the main character.
Here is my opinion. Escanor with his dum hax at 12 is the only time he can beat meliodas. Now mind you demons are said to be stronger at night time. Nope he is born with it. He didn't lend it the Grace choosen him. Escanor returned mael the grace but it's killing him. He want to live long for merlin but during battle with demon king he realised he need to help his friends even he had to sacrifice himself. Then he lend the grace from meal which refused because it will kill escanor but escanor insisted and became One escanor again but after noon he used his life force to boost the grace sunshine to last until evening in fight Against demon king Zeldris. Which obviously burned his life. Overall he never actually borrowed the grace, the grace itself choosen him and refused mael.

@Sharmainemanalo7283 It has nothing to do with being the main character. Mel's stronger simply because he's stronger, and doesn't need to kill himself (like Escanor) to use that power. Mel is stronger cause he's a 3,000 year old demon prince, while Escanor is just a human with a borrowed power that hurts him whenever he uses it.
It really sucks that some people just immediately throw "main character" or "plot armor" for no reason, just cause they don't like that their favorite character couldn't surpass them. After the demon king was defeated we saw the final form meliodas but he refused to keep that power. I think if the final form meliodas fought the ultimate escanor then final form (magic form) meliodas would have win. But that will never happen.

I recall the chapter when Meliodas went up against Mael of sunshine one of the four archangels and I’m sure it was an even battle but it was only a Glimpse. Ain’t no way when Meliodas fought escanor in his one form that he was using full power no where near his true powers.
So what is your point? The one mode is invincible, aint no one even meliodas going to beat escanor.

I know he talks about Morning Escanor here. In most of Escanor’s fights at the beginning, he was literally just toying or not going all out with any of his enemies. Meliodas is said to cut a mountain in half with a twig here, but bro forgot that was Meliodas’s like 1%, bro didn’t even have his power unsealed yet, let alone his Demon Mark, AND EVEN THEN AT THAT SEASON, Meliodas stated Escanor was stronger! Meliodas wiped a country from the face of the earth, he coulda done so much more. I might be a bit biased here, but so are most of the people here. Whitebeard is literally about to die, bro took damage from cannonballs and stabs when Escanor wouldn’t even get hurt, that’s even if the weapon or cannonball doesn’t melt when coming in contact with the guy.
See what Meliodas did with that twig, try to amp it when he uses Lostvayne, demon mark, which makes Meliodas have 56,000 as his PL, Escanor had 60,000 base. Now, the lake feat was when Escanor had that PL, but neither Escanor nor Estarossa were truly trying, they were just gauging their power throughout most of the fight. Escanor’s power rose to 80,000 at times too. So, Old Whitebeard is prob dead before he even uses his Devil Fruit, no offense
