Congratulations you've discovered how to pirate Rocksmith! lol But for real, I love how RUclips even has the playback speed function so you can even practice parts at a slower tempo. Not as precise but the convenience of being able to just play a video with my Guitar of choice is so good
Thanks. Doing this on a guitar is much easier! I like how you don't anchor your thumb on the pickup, you move your thumb up and down. I'm trying to practice using this technique in order to mute the E string if I'm plucking on the G string close to fret 12. If I don't, the E string will vibrate if I'm playing the G string around fret 12. Thanks!
might have high treble. my a string is the same way but i cant hear it when im playing because my amp overpowers it. although i dont have a tone with much treble

yes, you don't press the string down all the way and it produces an almost percussive sound
