    I am SO glad I found your website and these videos Ben!! Artisans such as yourself were almost gone. Can you please tell me what is the best overall grit sandpaper belt for touching up a slightly dull edge? I have always used stones, and would like to give the sandpaper a try. Cheers!

    How thick is the Corian? How long?

    Do you really think you can overheat the knife (you mentioned scorching it) while sharpening by hand like that? I thought that was only an issue when using power sharpening systems.

    LED lights are far superior to show marks in the steel. It may look good in normal light, but under a LED light it will show all the scratches you missed. They are cheap to buy.
