IAMHE2K20 I agree!! Both Billie and NF have great visual videos, so it’s hard to concentrate on all the elements involved when trying to read lyrics too. Lol. Sometimes I’ve had to watch videos and read lyrics separately sometimes to grasp it all especially with NF and his subtle bar drops!! Then, when I know the lyrics and watch it with the videos...🤯 I get it though, it’s so hard to do on an initial reaction. You’re doing awesome catching what you do. That’s why I keep coming back for more. 😊

I love all these reactions, love to see the live videos too, most of them have subtitles so I would definitely check when you watch them. She’s just incredible live. I have noticed that you haven’t really gotten to see how she engages her crowds, she’s one of the best artists at that in the biz right now. Her performance of copycat and my boy both really show that and in some of the ones of my boy she dances with Finneas. Also they have couple videos where they explain their song writing process too which are really interesting.
Answering the question at the end: because you're confusing "soft" with "low" those notes are high as hell, much higher than some of those famous "belters" belt, but the notes are sang softly instead of belty. The power is still there either way.
Yes definitely agree soft fits better than low. But the same premise was still intended. It makes for a very unique sound. And puts me ina. Trans at times. I love her now
You might already know this, but on official videos, you can add the captions so you have the lyrics right there on the screen. That way you don’t miss out on any of the artistry of the music videos. I think some live performances might have them too, but I’m not sure.
