So impressed with his ability to draw the viewer into the trunk. He finds that delicate and subtle balance so the trunk doesn’t look totally cleared and yet so often is it. I found myself mesmerized with the trunks - the right weighing of the foliage to get the image of a tree and then pulled/lured into the trunk.
I was here two weeks ago travelling from Denmark.. Awesome awesome place and Kunio couldn't be nicer - insisted on signing by book and all! Cool guy :)
Hi Nigel, I have some questions unrelated to this video. A few weeks ago I bought a Ficus benjamina from Ikea. I brought it home and gave it some time to get used to the new conditions before repotting. It was really root bound and i was happy to see it react to the new pot so well. A week later it starts to lose its leaves, is it shocked or just trying to refresh the leaves, there are a lot of new buds on the tree.
N Viu, repotting is always stressing for the tree, afterwards is wise to keep it in the shade and protected from the wind. Im sure ur Ficus is good now, sometimes they discard leaves after a stressing situation. Cheers!
Vincent Chu, First I was thinking it was a Larix, but then I checked it carefully. I am almost sure is a white pine. Look at the bark... I have a japanese black pone and its very similar.
