- Call me old fashion, but I love the older "regular" style of radio. This one does what it is supposed to and doesn't complicate things while doing it.

Another great video, on what seems to be a really nice useful receiver. I've been looking for one. My old school larger box multi band receiver radio was stolen and have needed to replace it.
Much respect for your work and info.
Thx
I am sorry that someone stole your other radio- I really can't stand people who do that!
At (9:25), i heard that station before -- so i swung around in my chair and turned on my Yaesu FRG-7700 and tuned to 9.930 and low and behold it was coming in and out Loud & Clear between 9 and 20 on the S Unit Meter..... not sure where that station is but I am in Poplarville, MS. That little Raddy doing a great job. I may order me one to add to my collection...... Thanks.
I think it is an TN channel, that would be why we both can get it
@@FarpointFarms I am in Virginia (Fredericksburg) and 9.930 comes in loud an clear on a ZWS-757 as well. (same radio)
Nifty little radio!
For what it is, it is pretty decent radio for the price.
@@FarpointFarms I may have to see if the local Radio Shack has any, they would carry Raddy products on occasions , that's if they have recovered from Helene.
It's great that it also has a wide-band VHF/UHF receiver. But sadly it looks like it has no SSB modulation support on the shortwave band, so sadly very limited usage.
You should be able to receive planes up to 350 miles depending on how high they are flying. Getting the ground frequencies is more of a challenge if you don't live near an airport. But you are high up you might be lucky if you use a decent outside antenna.
Thanks for sharing that! I a sure when I lived in the Raleigh area, I would be able to get tons of planes
You often hear Brother Stair. I hear him and WMLK.
I wonder how many years he will be on the air? He has been passed for 4 years now
@@FarpointFarms One FM station near me still plays Art Bell reruns of Coast to Coast. I'm surprised we don't still hear Rush Limbaugh or Paul Harvey in some form.
Cool😊
Thanks
Impressive spread of frequencies, for a tiny radio. I clicked on the link and saw that this radio could be operated via an APP on a smart phone, did you get a chance to try the app?
I did not try the app, I am not a huge cell phone fan, so I usually don't mess with them
Wonderful. I had an off topic question. Forgive me, but am a new sub and old videos keep getting recommended, the subject of which are currently in my wheelhouse. Picked up a low end Uniden to get on the air (I also HAM and have a GMRS and MURS stuff) and a Tram 3500 antenna, which I hope is not too unwieldly(?). Actually got the antenna based on one of your Top 3 videos. One change I will be making is to try to find thumb screws to replace the existing "lovely" Allen-head screws. My question is this. I am looking for an additional CB that has scan, AM/FM, and sideband (why not?), but can't find any with all features. I really like the Midland 2 in 1 and may still get it is the Midland 75-822. I have the "same" type of setup for my Baofeng and appreciate its versatility between vehicles, or as an HT. Any recommendations would be appreciated by you or the gang.
What DSP does it offer? If that is on the audio, are there different levels of processing?
Also, is there an internal ferrite antenna for MW? If so, having the external antenna jack in use might disconnect it.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
thanks
You have the radio positioned for maximum glare making it difficult to see.
Sorry about that
Nein, empfindlich ist er nicht, eher taub, auch mit externer Antenne
👍💯👍💯👍💯👍!!!!
Thanks
Why does your voice have an echo.
I had the audio settings off. I did not realize until after I filmed
wow, picky mofos posting garbage…thanks for the video sir!
Tell us about the Bluetooth. Can the battery be charged in the radio using USB-C cable?
Do the unboxing before you begin the broadcast.
Why? Most radio reviewers do the unboxing like he did.
People have always requested that I do unboxings as part of my reviews.
It seems you can't make everyone happy.. keep up the good work..
The unboxing is the best part of the videos. LOL
Yes, and they do it wrong.
You can fast forward, you know that right?
@@FarpointFarms 😆
