The honey is from the bees you took out. As a beekeeper, that honey is just fine. Honey has no expiration date. If that was old it would be crystalized. Enjoy!
Second this, honey will keep for many decades at least. This honey is months old and fresh! Surprised its not crawling with ants but I bet the beeswax is a natural deterrent
I second that as well (third it?)! An excavation in 1922 discovered more than 2000 jars of preserved Honey from the tomb of King Tut. The archaeologists tasted it, and to their amazement, found it to be sweet and edible - 3000-year-old Honey still edible. So you'll be fine!

Yes i remember this from my childhood in a small village in Picardie.. the fire brigade and the postman always brought their calendar at the year end..and of course they wouldn't only be given a donation in an envelope but also be offered a cup of coffee and slice of cake or tarte... sweet memories of a real sense of community in rural france
@@mireillelefevre6092I lived in Paris suburbs. They do it there too. We were all so excited to see them. They always sent the youngest and good looking ones. lol.

Dan, you have over half a million people watching you on your epic build. It's a real.pleasure to watch every video capturing all your skills on show. Wishing you all the best for 2025
I know "les pompiers" came to deliver to you their annual new calendars for a small donation (and to set up a group photo op) but it's none the less a good time to keep contact with them because if you get "le Chef des pompiers" on the side, he can bring a couple of his units onto your grounds and figure out where he would place them if ever there was a real fire that needed extinguishing for real. (This includes a tree or greenery fire as what happens when lightening strikes). Aside from putting smoke detectors everywhere & a sprinkler system into the Chateau itself, you should consider putting in at least "quatre bouches d'incendie" (4 fire hydrants) at different locations on the grounds. This will shorten the amount of time & lengths of hoses the firemen will need to couple together from a water source (including your pool) in order to actually get to fight the fire. Remember a length of 3.5 inch hose is roughly 50 feet or 15.240 meters and the more length you add to a hose, the more drag their is within the water's pressure and the more drag there is the less volume comes out per second at the nozzle. So the closer you can get to the chateau with a hydrant, the quicker the firefighters can dump more water on a fire in a shorter span of time. The less time to extinguish the fire, the less water damage there is also after the fire's been extinguished.
So they have a municipal water system with hydrants ? Is this not a full blown rural area with wells ? If you’re right , those hydrants would be a great investment. Happy New Year 🥳 🇨🇦
How much you want to bet they will be taking photos there to be featured in their NEXT calendar??? They know how popular you are, and they will make ALOT of money with that calendar.
