The honey is from the bees you took out. As a beekeeper, that honey is just fine. Honey has no expiration date. If that was old it would be crystalized. Enjoy!

Second this, honey will keep for many decades at least. This honey is months old and fresh! Surprised its not crawling with ants but I bet the beeswax is a natural deterrent

I remember reading that archaeologists in Egypt found 3000-year-old honey which was still edible - I believe in sealed pots. Amazing!

I second that as well (third it?)! An excavation in 1922 discovered more than 2000 jars of preserved Honey from the tomb of King Tut. The archaeologists tasted it, and to their amazement, found it to be sweet and edible - 3000-year-old Honey still edible. So you'll be fine!

You should totally get a beekeeper to install some beehives in the back of the walled garden, that would be so cool! Plus help pollinate everything!

Sorry to buzz kill but "NO". After my own bee story, those bees will wish to make a bigger and bigger encampment to pollinate everything them selves. The damage that will happen in a few short months ( 5 months) can be really expensive and time consuming to repair. Focus on getting the Chateau back up running. Cheers

Safety first- having worked in numerous trades for the last 50 years- I say this out of a deep respect for what you are doing- and the loss of hearing I’m dealing with- #1 Respirator is an absolute must. Thinking one is immortal and impervious to mold, toxins is an illusion. #2 Ear plugs/ ear muffs - for massive noise levels above 95 db, there will come a day in the future when you ask yourself, why you didn’t take better care of yourself. No amount of money will get your hearing or lungs back… Blessings to you this day.

We are going on vacation and are taking computers and iPads just to make sure we don’t miss an episode. You are an inspiration and a joy.

I know "les pompiers" came to deliver to you their annual new calendars for a small donation (and to set up a group photo op) but it's none the less a good time to keep contact with them because if you get "le Chef des pompiers" on the side, he can bring a couple of his units onto your grounds and figure out where he would place them if ever there was a real fire that needed extinguishing for real. (This includes a tree or greenery fire as what happens when lightening strikes).
Aside from putting smoke detectors everywhere & a sprinkler system into the Chateau itself, you should consider putting in at least "quatre bouches d'incendie" (4 fire hydrants) at different locations on the grounds. This will shorten the amount of time & lengths of hoses the firemen will need to couple together from a water source (including your pool) in order to actually get to fight the fire.
Remember a length of 3.5 inch hose is roughly 50 feet or 15.240 meters and the more length you add to a hose, the more drag their is within the water's pressure and the more drag there is the less volume comes out per second at the nozzle. So the closer you can get to the chateau with a hydrant, the quicker the firefighters can dump more water on a fire in a shorter span of time. The less time to extinguish the fire, the less water damage there is also after the fire's been extinguished.

@@dmazeauin france there is a difference between un lac ou un étang/mare , just like there is with fleuve and ruisseau, not everything is showing on maps because some are artificial like réservoir others are too small like les étangs...🙂

That blue wall could become a piece of art as a remembrance of what was left over. If you could detach part of it for later, and for an artist to make art out of that wall, would be cool. Not sure how it looks like there, but from the video, it looks great.
