I prefer the buses to the trains. I usually stay in Montmartre at the Ibis, but we'll be staying on the south side next time. We only stay in Paris a couple of days before heading to other regions.
Glad you had a fun time. It's amazing that the airline employee escorted you and helped get a taxi. How helpful! I highly recommend taxi coming off flights instead of trying to navigate public transportation simply because of exhaustion.
I recommend Musee d'Orsay for the Impressionist and the fun Centre Pompidou for modern arts. I've not been to the Sex Museum yet (Musee de Romantique).
British Airways has been my favorite airline and we are lucky enough to always get direct flights from Atlanta. I can't imagine having to do transfers.

That is so amazing that you were in Paris! Glad you had safe travels. I didn't realize that you could fly direct from Chicago to France. I live in Illinois so this is good news 😊

Sounds like a great trip. 🥰 Sorry to hear your chair was "too big" to get on to the flight to Dublin. Local planes do have size requirements unfortunately, mine is too big too.

Do you think a manual wheelchair user would have the same accessible issues or do you think it might have been a little easier?
