My name in Sea of Thieves is Stefan Lof. Have been playing SoT since launch and I am still playing almost every day. The videos is just a small selection of my events on the seas. They where uploaded just so I could share it with my crewmates, but I later saw that some videos got a few viewings...

Wow, this has to be the best moment in SOT I’ve ever seen, I can’t stop re-watching this and just trying to think about how I can adapt and improve my own PVP skills (which suck)

If you think you can go solo sloop against gally - forget about it. Chainshots are nerfed and these guys were incredibly trash, probably brand new to the game and not even full crew. All it takes is one harpoon or boarder and sloop is sunk.

@@fenrir6856 I actually prefer to meet a Galleon than a Brigantine. And if you have the right"Cursed Cannonballs" like "Anchor" and "Ballast" it can be a easy match! 😇

...but of course I don't stand a chance against a good coordinated crew 😋
It's important when sailing a Galleon to realize the ship and crew size does not mean you can deal with every threat. I have been sunk to a Sloop more than a few times on a Galleon to know they are capable of being a threat

Hahaha! Well...like in my case I got lucky that I encountered a Galleon with a pretty bad crew. But yeah, it still feels awesome every time you manage to sink a Galleon solo XD

Why did you not use the rigging ball? Then they wouldn’t been able to raise the masts once knocked down.
Well...to be honest I probably didn't even know that I had a Rigging ball - Haha! I tend to get in a state of panic when it comes to PVP 😉

Yeah I know...I totally panicked and dropped the anchor for some reason. I just got lucky that the Galleon dropped their anchor as well 😁

Bro I was on a sloop yesterday with my friend and we saw a brig we went straight at the mf and rammed it like 4x and shot at it then we died. I refuse to elaborate any further

My best pvp moment would be when me and my brother were on a sloop being chased. We did a harpoon turn around a large rock formation, and the other ship lost track of us by crashing into the side of the rocks.

I don’t want to diminish your cannon shots cause those are on point. However, that gal crew is HOT CACA. They were not being boarded and still couldn’t even repair the ship. Still tho great shots and great job maintaining your own ship.

Me and my friends once went against a galleon and ended up crashing into eachother and got locked up with eachother, I think they were pinned on an island. We all started blasting eachother with firebombs and fighting while everyone was on fire. I don't know how, but we actually managed to sink them, I remember the paint job of our brig being so fucked up and the deck being completely charred black
Hahaha...congratulations on sinking the Galleon! But I know exactly what you meant regarding the fire messing up the ship! My ship is often full of scars after a session on the seas 😂

@@katamekothriis1613 - I know exactly what you mean...I used to have a lot more crewmates before. But some left SoT and started playing other games, and others had stuff in IRL. Lately it has become a little bit lonely on the sea's. I do miss when we were about 10 people constantly playing. I had been considering looking for new people on the different SoT Discord Channels.
On the other hand...I do need a break from this game 😅

Anytime I see a solo sloop, I just wave and leave them be, they either just started playing, or will sink your four man galleon.

Hey stefan lof, with 3 people is it better to do brig or gally? (Im a solo slooper and have been for a year or two so i have no idea about other ships)
I personally love the Brigantine. It's fast as hell & pretty easy to manage. But it's weakness is that water can fill up pretty quickly if you are not paying attention. The Galleon is just to big...but that's just my opinion 😜

Thanks so much dude! The cannons are the "Triumphant Sea Dog Cannons". They are sadly not available anymore. It was a reward from "The Arena". But the "Killer Whale Cannons" that you get from Hunters Call are basically the same...or even better if you ask me!

Also just a tip, you can disable screen shake in the settings to disable that shake when you shoot a cannonball.

@@STEFANLOF np, I just had no idea you could switch between items like that with the cannons, neither did I know you can sorta zoom in with them. That probably would have helped against a reaper brig that was chasing me one time as a solo slooper with a lvl 1 gold hoarder flag lol
Yeah the ability to switch between your items sure is a good thing...

@@STEFANLOF yeah hopefully. The last brigs I've encountered that tried me failed at catching my little sloop. Used the wind against them. But I have used the ability to switch items on cannons against sloops while on galleons to stop them from escaping or trying to do the death spiral.

Hahaha! Well you must consider that the video is from 2019 and it was my first solo encounter with a Galleon. But you're absolutely right about the crew. My guess is that they did an open crew and thought that a little sloop would be easy picking 😂

So all of their masts where already hitted, they barely shot at you when they had angle and all the movement and everything seems weird...
Is this actually staged? Seems like it is to me, idk, I've seen and done a lot of fights and they usually don't go like this, something seems off...

Wow that galleon is really bad. They should have had you dead to rights the moment you messed up that first anchor turn. They should have had at minimum 3 cannons blasting you to pieces.
Yeah I know. I made a HUGE blunder dropping the anchor. I was just lucky that their crew didn't have any communication with each other 🤣

I don't want to deprive you of pleasure, but the fact is that this galleon was playing just poorly, as if I had to compare it to what happens to me while fighting, only tryhards and each of them probably after 2000 hours in the game and thats why I personally dont want to play it anymore. day after day I am destroyed, just wasting my time and enjoyment of the game :/
But that's just the thing with Sea of Thieves. Sometimes you come across a crew that can't handle a Galleon (like in this video). And sometimes you can get totally destroyed by a Sloop. And you never know if they are sweats or noobs until the fighting starts - Hahaha! I sure hope you will give SoT another try, because in my opinion, it's one of the greatest games ever made 🤩
