Ice cream freezer from -4f to +4 degrees F under 40F for MILK A lot of Home freezers sit at 0 F degrees... Regarding Freezer shutting down from Battery. Battery sitting healthy is 12.6, Starting can drop it to 10 or 11.X , If the freezer is set to H or (keep batter strong mode) and it is warm outside and engine fan is on , or AC kicks in and battery drops to 11 or 10 volts it will shut down the fridge which is probably what happened. If you put set fridge to Low, the battery. has more room to take care of the fridge. How has it been since, I see some of these videos with a garage run or one run to the store with one thing in it. How about a weekend camping or an extended test for real like use.. Thx for doing this one though.
I can't give you a 12v long run but we had a hurricane a year ago in our area and had a house full of guests so we pulled it out and used it for a week as an additional storage device and it worked prefectly.
How can I run it at the beach ?? Do I need a portable battery??
Yes, you'd need a 12V power supply. It has no internal battery.
If you still have this, what is the height of this fridge? I am not sure I trust the amazon measurments.
Oh man... I gave it away last week after over a year with it. Bad timing. I think Amazon's measurements were close, seemed to match up to me.
