I loved how they tied up Max’ story arc. She chose not to be Elanore, after all the power, status and gold wasn’t end all be all for her.
Remember her back at the floor in the very beginning of the show, begging Elanore to choose her? For a second there she almost ended up like the person who screwed her over the hardest. But she prevailed, faced what was essentially the most important thing to her.
I was hoping for that outcome but never truly trusted Max intentions, it’s hard with a person so damn cunning.
These two are the opposite of a match made in heaven and I love it! :D Anne is such a badass!
