How to make double Dimple. Making another dimple over Dimple face?
Thank you. But I am trying to make a dimple over a face that I got by a dimple itself. I mean, imagine you want to have 2 concentric circle and you want just the part included between the 2 circles be dimpled. Is it possible? And how? I tried to make a sketch with more closed paths, but NX doesn't accept it. I tried to make a new sketch curve over the "dimpled" face, but nothing to do (I always get the error message to check my parameters - and I did it....). I s there a way for that? Thank you!
Please make sketch of what you want to do and share image to techdesignsantosh@gmail.com I will check and let you know
@@TechDesignsantosh Hi and thank you for your kind reply. I have sent you the link to a shared folder on my GDrive where you can find the image of what I am trying to model with NX and the .prt file of what I already did. You should receive the link from my personal email, so I ask you to not to share my email with others. Please, if useful, feel free to use the .prt file for a new video or whatever you want. Thank you again, Federico
I have the same problem, did you solve it?@@compassft
@@Dizaynspeed I think I didn't go with the double dimple but, to get what I needed, I used the "solid punch" tool. Hope yhis helps
@@Dizaynspeed It's a long I don't work with NX anyway if I am not wrong you have to create a solid that than you will use as a press tool on the metal sheet, exactly as you would do in reality
