Just fyi for all the fanboys . P/w ratio is highest for aprillia rs 457 but it will always loose to duke 390 if rider is heavy coz the combined p/w ratio gets down. If the weight of rider is constant then in no way a naked bike of 170 kgs with 46 ps and 39nm of torque can defeat a fully faired bike of 175kgs with 48.6 ps with 43.5 nm of torque. P.s : In 2019 i had the same option to put up a premium of 80-1l and go for duke 390 gen 2 but i went for the budget option i.e dominar 400. 4 years late i got the same option to put up 1l more ti get a premium version ie aprillia ra 457 so this time i’m going for aprillia rather than ktm duke 390
Tbh rawness has its own charm, r3 is great machine fuck features personally the feature I want in r3 is Quickshifter auto blipper rest Bluetooth riding modes is not needed but it's price tag is really concerning

Rs 457 didn't launch the bike well or no way duke can make so much length in initial to rs 457. I've test ridden both and duke is a beast but rs had monster pull which makes u lean automatically anyway u will see when more videos will come
Literally parallel twin is better than twin cylinder engine,less vibration. RS got the engineering with parallel twin. The launch and brutality of Duke 390 is unbeatable. ❤

Hi people I really need help, So i have a dominar 400 for my usual daily commute and weekend rides that happen once every 2 months. And i really want to get a sports bike. But the issue is when will i even use it, as for trips dominar really is comfortable along with pillion or luggage. I really like rs457 but I can’t take it on my trips and even i wouldn’t use it in city cause that would be a wasted potential. So the question is should i listen to my heart and go for it, or just take a smaller sports bike like a r15 and use it in city and keep dominar for trips. I really fancy the idea of a sports bike and even had cbr650r in my mind but i am not able to find a use case as my dominar really is covering a hell lot of ground(i hate and love it for that). I really thought it would be easy to just get what you like, well seems the maturing up is getting to me. Any suggestions are welcome Thankyou.
Why do you want RS 457 when you have 390. How long do you want to ride same range bike? Price and performance may be different but still they're in same range. In my case, I have 250. still I don't want to upgrade to any of those. Just want to upgrade to inline 4 cylinder bike. Like: zx6r or cbr650r or z900

People are clapping on d390 power here however two important things to note Ranjan's launching skills is better than anyone in this race hence the r3 to 150 wheb duke overtook and 180 when rs457 overtook it. Same thing happened when changed bikes Duke was much faster in ranjans hand. Secondly people are also not mentioning how the rs457 and r3 is passing the duke at 170+ making it look like as if its standing still!! DV is the heaviest rider here else the RS would have been the fastesr from the start itself
Although duke 390 acceleration is brutal but you can't keep them going cause it's naked ,wind blast hits so damn hard, on the other hand fairing bikes can easily maintain the speed. I know some of you might not like my comment but truth is truth 🤔

Looks like RS457 can go much faster.. the limitation here is the Skill and weight (atleast 20kg+) of the rider (No offence to the rider)
Difference of weight is not that much, each 5 extra kg is equivalent to 1 less horsepower

Duke is the quickest, a true track eater. RS457 has mixed reviews while coming to track due to its poor braking. But I can see the potential in it.

tc cuts off lot of power on thr rs457, with tc off it's a proper weapon. i'm sure the rs guy had the tc on pretty high.
