Great deer, great shot! I took my first deer with a recurve on Nov 7. He was huge, nearly 300# live weight. A perfect double lung shot, I still find it hard to believe I made the shot! But even with that he ran 230yds. Waited about 1.5 hrs and then followed him up with the help of my neighbor. Just unbelievable…just a blessing from the Lord.

Good thing he didn't run and get found on adjacent public property by somebody else. I went thru basic training in Alabama. I remember seeing deer there and they were pretty small for sure compared to deer farther north. Thanks for sharing. Trad kills rule.

@@timbo749 that’s them actually, they’re marked 175 grain but actually weigh 190, every single one of the 175,grain swamp sharks actually weigh 189-190 grains!
