Racial segregation was morally wrong, but South africa now has become a dystopia. Especially after president Zuma's years. It is following the path of other failed states like Zimbabwe and Venezuela. Congratulations Anc.

No racial segregation was the corrected and will forever be the solution to the ills of South Africa. Keeping the ethnicities seperate helped in preserving eacth tribe/ethnicities cultural norms and customs.
After lumping people together under the guise of a rainbow nation was doomed to fail and it has failed.

@@bonanibob5657 Dividing the country in uncountable lands seems like a good solution today, more than 30 years later; but reading more carefully about that period (the 70s, 80s), the conclusion is that it would not have been accepted.
      By neither party.
In fact, no moderate solution would have been accepted, not even the short-lived Rhodesia-Zimbabwe, which lasted for months in 1979 and was supposed to be a transitional regime.
Not even the solution of the four Bantustans or "independent" black states (early 80s), namely Transkei, Ciskei, Venda and Bof'tswana, where only the latter had a small following, but was soon repressed and reunified with the Republic of South Africa.

@Thabo Sethipa Where do you get your info?
1.Free housing is what the ANC do with hard working tax payers money to win votes. They also use it to enrich them selves. Do you really think they care about black people? Wake up man. I believe that if you if get something for free, it has no value. You got to work for what you want. After all this things that the ANC has done for you in the last 25 years, why are there so many unhappy blacks? Mostly people under 50 that never experience the so called terrible Apartheid system.
2.You always blame Apartheid for everything. When is it going to stop? Must I hate blacks for what happened with Piet Retief? When can I blame all my problems on Zuma's 10 years of corruption and state capture? For the farm murders? By the way, I can't recall a single case where a white guy went and slaughtered a black farmer. There is always 2 sides to every story. You must look at it from both ways. The Apartheid system wasn't perfect, but way better than the current one. I was very liberal and my first vote was for Democracy in 1992, because I was taught a lot of lies.
      3. At the height of Apartheid in 1978 Soweto had 115 Football fields, 3 Rugby fields, 4 athletic
tracks, 11 Cricket fields, 2 Golf courses, 47 Tennis courts, 7 swimming pools built to Olympic
standards, 5 Bowling alleys, 81 Netball fields, 39
children play parks, and countless civic halls,
      movie houses and clubhouses.
In addition to this, Soweto had 300 churches, 365
schools, 2 Technical Colleges, 8 clinics, 63 child
day care centres, 11 Post Offices, and its own
      fruit and vegetable market.
There were 2300 registered companies that
belonged to black businessmen, about 1000
private taxi companies. 3% of the 50,000 vehicle
owners in 1978 were Mercedes Benz owners.
Soweto alone had more cars, taxis, schools,
churches and sport facilities than most independent countries in Africa. The Blacks of South
Africa had more private vehicles than the entire white population of the USSR at the time.
      4. I'm probably wasting my time telling you above. You obviously hate whites anyway and need to justify it. Talking about "mond vol kos", it is funny how so many Africans from other countries wanted to stay in SA during Apartheid. So much so that the military had to protect our borders.
Before you reply, talk to your elders and get the truth.
      5. Remember, the black people before Apartheid could not read or write, hence separate education. Read the Bantu education laws. I'll send you more info regarding this. Our country produced 200 black doctors a year during Apartheid.
I think I'll stop here...hope to talk again soon Thabo.

    • @snowyvandyk7193
      @snowyvandyk7193 5 лет назад +3

@Thabo Sethipa I apologized for to long. I was naive and hoped SA could work. Actually, after 1994 the race hate just got more and more due to radicals like the EFF, BLF and even the ANC (blaming whites for their own incompetence to run this country and everything else).
If what you say is right, why fix wrong with wrong then. You go on about a few white on black killings, but ignore the thousands of black on black ANC/Inkatha killings. How is Sharpville any different from Marikana? Do you know how many black people died in Rwanda. Millions. How many black died in Apartheid? Before Apartheid the average life expectancy of a black person was 38. During Apartheid, it went up to 64, higher than anywhere else in Africa. What is that worth to you?
Let me ask you, has the whites done anything good in your books? Do you know of one good white person?
Lastly, I was raised by a single mom and not on a farm. I had to study hard and my mom made a loan for me to finish my studies. I lost everything in 2008, but had to work hard to get where I am today, although I cant get a job, because of BEE. The fact is that you can give some people free property, but in a few months they will be broke again and live in a shack, while others will work their way up to become successful without help. You somehow don't believe black people are capable and want to give them free stuff. Doesn't work that way.

You can't argue deepfake if you have been treated like this for 2 yrs and no action.
Then add on history, and the old boys club is back. Forget equality! Back to his mates and how they REALLY feel about Anita Hill. In green.
