I like the art in this deck, and I actually love the pips a lot, but the people….. They’re are all super young, and especially in some of the majors and higher court cards, I’m finding that that’s not something I’m willing to abide in a deck anymore. If I were to get this deck, I’d have to HEAVILY modify it to age up many of the people in it, and I don’t know if my love of the art, symbolism, and sacred geometry is worth it. I’m on the fence.
I know how you feel. Normally I get so annoyed with pip decks. I can kinda accept the pip cards in this deck though because they are still somewhat illustrated with smaller elements, not just 3 cups, or 8 pentacles floating in a blank space.
