      The technology is ready since about 10 years, so it's no real rocket science. Only the legal framework hasn't been set up for it yet. Same applies for both countries, Germany and China.

    It just doesnt seem right, no one driving the bus 😳 it is the future and i know i would get used to it in no time. This fully automated bus shows us there is no need for supervision because there is no graffiti, no mess, it shows that the Chinese people respect what they have.
    That looked like a comfortable journey with huge viewing windows, thank you Willene for another enjoyable report👍

      Exactly Johnny! I think this type of technology is possible because of the mutual respect and sense of public decency. In many other countries, amazing tech like this in public would be destroyed easily. I had so much fun riding this bus 😊

    广州还有另外几条线:广州塔线(地铁广州塔站A),琶洲线(地铁磨碟沙站),黄埔BRT线(地铁双岗站),知识城线。

    Few questions Willem 1. What happened if you unbelt in the middle of the journey, will the bus stop moving? 2. Given that the bus will move once you put you seat belt on, I think it would be challenging to keep an active child restraint to the seat. 3. How often does this bus last before it recharge again? Can see there is not much leg room for you on the video😂

      People there are very friendly and the country is very safe. There are translation apps or you can hire a local guide. Travel in China is fun and exciting. I highly recommend it.

      You’re right. It can be tough adapting at the beginning but after a little while it gets much easier because people are very friendly whether you speak the language or not. And thanks to translation apps, makes it even easier.
