    Siege don’t attack everything at the same time.
    Defending t4 siege moves forward because it doesn’t have anything in range, so it gets targeted first in 99% of cases.
    This will be for 1 turn I believe, then your top tier siege moves forward and are now in range of attacking big siege.
    Vs t11 rally, where the attacking range is less, they will target the t4 for longer (more turns) before moving to hitting defending big siege, as it takes a couple of turns for the defending big siege to be in their range, so you’ll lose a higher volume of t4 against a small siege rally. This helps to keep your big siege alive for longer, but from a points, not power, trade, large volumes of t4 can give a negative points loss

      @@nickrowe151 Though I did say I wasn’t 100% sure exactly how the dynamic worked. Also I stated if properly reined it changes the dynamic as in a few reports I went into the t4 was hardly touched and the common knowledge is if reined properly the t4 dynamic doesn’t come into play, usually. What interests me about this theory is you say t4 moves forward because it has nothing in range and you claim the top tier isn’t in range either but the t4 moves forward into range but the top tier doesn’t as I’ve read this you state the t4 gets hit first however. Doesn’t higher have higher speed then t4?

    • @nickrowe151
      @nickrowe151 2 дня назад +1

      @ that’s correct, only t15/16 have a higher speed. But they don’t move on the first turn, theory being that already have the range to reach the attacking siege, I think Derrick covers this in one of his videos.
      T4 don’t have anything in their range so they move forward and become a target as they are the closest siege to the attacking siege so they get hit first in most cases.
      You’re right about rein making a difference for sure. We don’t t11 rally people who have rein because it never seems to go well for us. However, with no rein you can clear hundreds of millions of t4 siege and the point trade (not power exchange) can be very positive.
      Like I said t11 will target the t4 for longer, but t4 can take up a couple of turns against big siege before your big siege are targeted. That’s my understanding anyway, but I could well be wrong

      @@nickrowe151 this is good info as most don’t have a clear knowledge of this. Like everything we try to base a majority of what we know off what we see in reports. So this is a great piece of knowledge to throw onto the Evony pile of how the game works lol

  • @TheFluffedLife
    @TheFluffedLife 2 дня назад +1

    So the reason this works, is because the t4 siege have lower range and thus move up to find targets, which eventually puts them in the enemy high tier siege extended range, while your bigger siege stay back with their better range.

    Thoughts? It's my alliances belief that a T11 siege attack with FLATS attacks a good percentage of the T4's to go positive on the rally... pretty sure we've been successful with that.

    • @tim292926
      @tim292926  2 дня назад

      @@mikezepp9687 also it will hit high tiers as well so a full small siege rally will be positive generally speaking again depending on rein and the regular factors. I appreciate you sharing that information, but there is something that puzzles me (no matter that any player is always trying to get more): As a defender, what is the number that when you reach it is considered a good buff?

    • @tim292926
      @tim292926  2 дня назад

      @@salaymah difficult question to answer as your debuff is very important as well. To be solid I feel like aiming for 2600 across the board is a good goal if you have good debuff. Keep in mind some have much higher 3800 plus especially in siege attack. I’m big on hp and like to have a high number there as I preach the concept be harder to kill and it makes you harder for the enemy to kill
