As an Indian, I can guarantee that there are over 100 dishes that we can make with coconuts. A full course meal - appetiser, main course, dessert - can all be done with it!!! 🥰💛
We'll cook with fresh coconut.. not with coconut essence & coconut sugar😬😬
Indonesian too
Pakistani as well
100 dish can be dun
In Bangladesh too
I think the concept would be better if it was an actual SECRET just give the chef the raw ingredient let them taste it and try and make a dish based on what they think it is
I guarantee you that every Malayee in the world can make loads and loads of dishes having coconut as its main ingredient. How I wish tasty would have made such dishes.
Ikr. I can't think of a day in my life in which I haven't eaten a single item of food made of coconut. Tasty should really expand their menu to more parts of India, and other parts of Asia.
We already saw the pictures of coconut in the beginning.
Some items already being prepared earlier.
How is this a mystery ingredient?
the first shot was probably filmed a couple days before the rest of the video in order to give her time to plan out her recipes and the ingredients she would need. it's not uncommon for things like this to be filmed on multiple days and those in the videos just wear the same outfits for continuity
@kellzz0613 i would think they filmed the first shot on the same day as the judging/tasting. It wouldn't make sense to have the guest/judge come to the studio twice. This means that the recipe development. prep work, and creation of the actual food tasted probably was made before the last day. In other words, there is no surprise element.
Please don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love love the show!!!
But she caught me offguard when talking about the coconut ricotta.
She said the team prepared it two days ago…kinda ruins the vibe when she finds out what the ‘secret’ ingredient is..
I was thinking the same 😅
Also most of the coconut she used was from store bought coconut ingredients. Sure didn't actually use the coconut given.
Exactly. Plus did she even use the coconuts she was given? It was all processed coconut, including coconut extract. Coconut vinegar is "the coconut" in the salmon dish? WTF. There are so many actual dishes you can make with real coconut.
For reals! Lol! So fake
Well most culinary programs/ channels/content creators, prepare things in advance because it makes it easier for the audience to follow along and gives them an idea when trying the recipe themselves, for example what the texture, the fluidity etc should be at the end of each step or what to look out for!
It’s really refreshing and sounds not only attainable, but more realistic for somebody starting out as a home cook to know all these steps there’s a team behind it thats feels super appreciated to hear them mentioned
I agree. I was thinking the same thing how tasty is very transparent about things and they show not only the perfect outcome but also the roadblocks or things that don't necessarily work out!
Would it not be better if the Chef used the fresh coconut? ☺️
Same thoughts
When I saw that coconut I was straight away like Coconut prawns, Thai curry and 100 of desserts 🤣😅
Me too haha. Yeah not really dishes lols
Can we just have the translation series back already? 🤷🏼♂️🤦♂️🥺
Coming this March!
Ok maybe not March. It’s more likely happening in May
@@henrybanchieri8305 well that's disappointing 💔
Mystery ingredient prepped by culinary team!😂 but the recipes are great! Can’t wait to try them out.
legit was looking for this comment!😂
Hat down 👏
You guys gave me anxiety holding and hacking the coconut with the knife 😂
I love how she manages to toss the yolk around like it's a volleyball.
Jeri really killed it! I absolutely dig her vibe 💛
That lunch dish looks fantastic. I can smell the nutrients through my phone.
Thanks for sharing this recipe. It's a great way to add variety to our weekly meal plan.
Coconut Thai 🦐 over jasmine 🍚. Yummy
Can you take a try at cooking dishes with only rice? Or avocado that would be interesting! Thanks tasty for always entertaining me💓
H Woo is such a cutie 🥰 plus I’m loving Jeri, hope to see more of her...
However, I’m sad no new content will come from Inga, besides Rie she has been my favourite on this channel!!! 😞
I’m allergic to coconut but this video is making me really want it 😭🤪 It all looks so good and i feel like i’m missing out!
As someone who hates coconut, I still watched the whole video. 😂 Well done! 🥥
2:15 nice aiming, lol
People from India : uses coconut in at least 100 recipes
take a shot every time she says “i’m going to…”
Haha! I thought the same thing. 😂 I’d be soo drunk lol
Bicol Expess and a ton of coconut desserts from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Is just me or did she put the egg shells in egg white 10:29 ? Just why she could use the egg white for something later...
Jeri’s complexion nnnnnnggggghhhhhhh 😢❤

He's sooooo tall☺️
Where can I find the recipes for all of these dishes?
"Im going to" x 1000099 times
I'm so hungry after all this
I want to marry Jeri more than anybody ever. There is something so modern, mysterious, and beautiful about her
Please lose that wedding ring
I think she did an amazing job!!
Nice To Meet You !!!
Try CORN next. I think it would be interesting

Disappointed I didn’t see a Thai coconut curry in there . . . .
Make it fancy is better but this is fine
Up next: Durian 😅
I am that student rn who is burnt out but talented 😅 I have constant anxiety and can never turn off but don’t know how to stop 😂 you’re videos are so relatable
I really like that food
If you want something difficult, why not try tea or coffee. I've never seen savoury dishes using those ingredients
Chinese coffee ribs 😋
Chili con carne with coffee
Watching MasterChef all over again
hi
I 🚢 them 😂💀
This ingredient was too easy for a challenge.
My challenge ingredient : Bilimbi
GUAVA 👍🏻
My only problem is that she only serve 1 ravioli.
I want to see a series making recipes invented by ChatGPT AI! Give it some weird ingredients and make whatever it comes up with, maybe getting a box of mystery changes (e.g. add one ingredient, change one utensil)
I hate when people prepare food without wearing gloves.
But this chef took it to another level!
She is wearing her ring while kneading!
🙉 Noooo… 😩 Please don’t eat that
Jeri really really really resembles Tiger Woods
Well, she’s also half-Black half-Southeast Asian like Tiger Woods
Try ackee🇯🇲
This seems very similar to Sohla and Ham's mistery ingredient show
But they have what feels like a real hour to make their stuff. This is so scripted, and there are elements prepared ahead of time. This is...disappointing.
Why yeast AND baking powder? I bake since 20 years and never did this. Baking powder and yeast do a similar job, but baking powder loses it's power after 30-45min. It's kind of a fast starter. Yeast is the oposite, it needs time.
She’s so pretty…
Love hwoo but eh on me phase of tasty characters
Dragon fruit
She looks like a young Ruthie from the Real World!!
Can you use tofu
She said “I’m going to” like thousand times
Yeah, you should definitely quit watching her videos so you don't get triggered.
@@sherrybirchall8677 I believe my comment trigged someone, lol 😂
Next time use Pineapple!!!
jeri is so beautiful 🤩
She is everything beautiful
Can your mystery ingredient be a spice? If so, please use mace!
wheres alvin?
How is it a mystery ingredient, but you had things prepared 2 days before lol
DURIAN
You used coconut, but not the coconut he gave you. You used processed coconut from other sources so I feel like you didn't really pass this challenge.
Good lord it’s not that deep
@@doveamor I agree. The content of this video was very shallow. No real thought or effort put in at all.
@@claredavis5960 it’s cooking video on RUclips if this is your biggest concern for please sit down. Theres worst things going on in the world.
🤓🤓🤓
U find it on a mountaain
how isit using a coconut if you’re using coconut milk and extract that isn’t even from the raw coconut…. Then where is the challenge lmfao
Plantian
Is H woo single? 💀😭
Ricotta...but you can't use the ingredient with pasta or in a pasta dish whatsoever.
Wait is it just me or is he kinda fine..
HWOOHOO😭 I hate myself bye 🏃♀️
She looks a lot like tiger woods

Michael Jackson
Thanks for watching and showing love. Congratulations you've been shortlisted for a prize🎁!! Dm the above telegram handle.
This is literally bad make it fancy 😂😂😂 I’ll keep saying it
The Waffle house has found it's new host.
The waffle house has found its new host
Bad dishes
I don't like the concept
Because I am an indian and you can have too many dishes made of coconut.
The thumbnail for this video is an insult to the viewers’ intelligence. It tries to attract views by using a fake expression of shock or wonder. What’s worse, this is a culinary video, where the fake expression to attract people should be puckered lips and eyes rolling back, with a fork right beside her lips. If it’s a cooking video, deliciousness is the appeal, right? Don’t do the fake-shock thumbnail. It’s so insulting.
Loooooool this is not a challenge
On top of that she’s Filipino.. and her mum has showed her how to open a coconut… sigh.
I saw H Woo first time on You draw, I cook and ever since then I have liked him so much. His style of cooking, him, so incredible 🤍
