Mario Kart Hot Wheels - Yoshi Run!!
This video is the mastermind of my 9-year-old son. Way proud of him for coming up with a lot of the ideas for this video. When it was his birthday Grandma and Grandpa sent him some money and he spent at least half of it on Hot Wheels. He got the entire group of Yoshi Karts and wanted to create Yoshi Falls. He was with me for at least 70-80% of the filming. He helped with track take down and set up, Kart pushing, and babysitting our youngest at the skate park. Most of the time, I just like him around so I don’t look stupid playing with Hot Wheels by myself.
We thought about making a track as similar to the Mario Kart Wii Yoshi Falls track, but…lets face it…that is one of the MOST BORING tracks of Mario Kart. So we basically just tried to add at least some features of it into this….well, maybe 2…the big Yoshi egg…and the part of Yoshi falls where you either go on the boardwalk or the water.
Either way…this track was INSANE…9 KARTS!!! What were we thinking??? Imagine controlling 9 puppies in a box next to a free-way! That is why we split them up so quickly!
Many of you know that I am a huge Twenty Øne Piløts fan and I added a few little things in the video to pay tribute. If you notice the colors of the groups, they are the album colors of Blurryface, Trench and Scaled and Icy. I also added Trash the Dragon in the SAI group. See if you can catch him…he’s also in several other videos we’ve made.
