I recommend that people use the pebble material to resurface their pool in lieu of plaster, because of the plaster related problems. Some plasterer's are not going to like you, for being so frank, shining a light on these "problems", good for you! This is still a 'raging' problem in the industry, going back, as far as I know, for at least 40 years!
Heh boss. A quick question. I just did a pebbletec step repair and after letting it dry, i noticed some pitting. Nothing extensive. I also did 2 layers brcause when i bought the first package, i didnt buy enough. Is small areas of light pitting acceptable for a small repair? Currently i took s grinder to some of the areas to smooth out the surfaces. In your opinion, should i be worried about the pitting? Over all the step is solid with crackresustant concrete and light gauge rebsr for a little extra strength. Also, i did some etching to clean off extra pebble stsin around the area. Thsnks.
I didn’t find this very helpful? I was looking for a video on RUclips that would show me examples of these issues so as to identify my issue specifically and how to address it. He speaks as if you can see something that he’s showing you lol…dude! REALLY!?

Yes, it's a skill I possess. 😆
