been playing this for a few weeks now, and i like the havok change... however ive also been fond of another change due to the amount of arishem, and thats having him instead of sasquatch. usually hawk is a 5/9ish, however 30% of the games when u do play arisham, its a 5/30+, ill take that
@@spac3wax Yeah, it’s hard not to slot Darkhawk into so many decks with all the Arishem around. Definitely enjoying playing Cassandra right now, but I think once Arishem playrate goes down, I won’t be playing much of her.
@@PerryNecessary agreed, i don't play darkhawk in arishem already, but in this specific deck running both bird + quatch, one of which being darkhawk does make a lot of sense (prio goes to the bird). against non-arisham, its usually -1 less power than the alternative, while has a massive upside on the other games & just makes a lot of sense right now. overall has been pretty much my go-to solid mid-range deck
How good is this vs Arishem? I really like the gwenpool mysterio combo. If he gets hit thats alot of power. Its much like bast mysterio. Curious what everyone will bring to DP diner. Im thinking Arishem will be big player early on. Then taper off once alot of people unlock Cassandra.
@@2kDragon888 I don’t think anyone will argue Arishem is the best thing you can be doing right now, but I feel fine ( even favored at times ) playing this deck into Arishem. Deadpool’s Diner is definitely going to be filled with Arishem, so heavy counters might be in people’s favor today.

I really don't have a great suggestion for Gwen unfortunately. Her triggers onto Mysterio really have a massive impact on the games where it lands. Especially since this version leans heavily into that Sasquatch/Mockingbird package for points. You could try a Sage, or a white widow for cheap points. There's also a case for Miles Morales. With Jeff and Nocturne in the deck, he could be played out for a 1/6 either on turn 5 optimally alongside a Mysterio and Havok. Or on the final turn optimally alongside Mockingbird and Sasquatch; if you were able to play Mysterio +1 other card and also moved a card on turn 5. (If that all makes sense) Regardless, whatever you choose to replace Gwen with, the deck will ultimately be weaker in my opinion.

Havok during castle zemo spotlight got me from 80 to 100 in a couple hours. All bots no one was playing during it
