I’m passing on all of this. I’m surprised we didn’t get any crazy Trenton-isms, like: “did you ever spill soda on a dogs back, then try to slurp the soda off the dog?…. I kinda get some of that in here”
"I'm getting a sour pit nose on this. You know when you forget to buy deodorant for a few days and you start to get sour whiffs coming from your armpits? I'm getting some of that with a confectionery sugar smell"
Pretty good nose and taste buds to identify these as budget bourbons. I've not seen any if these at the stores where I shop, nor do I plan to look for them, although I do love a good bargain (4 Roses base model is rather good and I can get it for $15). I'll pay a bit more for better grade juice. I really hate additives as they mask the foul taste of a bad distillation.
Thanks for the review! I tend to consider "budget" whiskeys/bourbons in that $20-30 range. Anything under $20 I typically avoid as my assumption is that 'there's almost no way it could be decent at that price point.'
@ChuckyLarms In my area I think most prices are pretty similar to others. EW bib $20, WT101 $26, etc. I was more referencing the unfamiliar/bottom-shelf labels that are priced so cheap, lower proof, and I've never heard of that make me pause.
I would really if ever spend more than $80 for a 750ml, I also would really spend less then $22. I come to realize my favorite mixed drink is Good Bourbon and ice.
Never had Cabin Still but Conciere is a common line of well spirits, like 1 notch above Monarch. Here in Portland area, the well bourbon is almost always Old Crow. I'd love to see you guys try a sip of Crow.
I cannot in all good conscience say anything bad about these, some people are in some hard times and I won’t cut them down because it’s all they can afford $.
Funny stuff guys. And another fun blind. PS- the reason you use water in most if not all premade hot cocoa mixes since the 70's-80's... is because they use powdered milk in the mix. Advantageous in many ways as it doesn't curdle when heated even if ignored. Real hot cocoa with milk or easy to scald .. and then your drinking a modified chocolate cottage cheese type thing... hard pass. Sorry the ocd cook/chef came out there.
Kessler is one i cannot, cannot abide. JTS Brown, HH's Quality House, Ancient Age are okay. Although the last AA bottle i got was really pretty bad and hot. JTS bib the best of these 3.
Well done on the new flooring, gun show and budget whiskies lads! PSA.....as Scotch is much more expensive than bourbon, if you want the BEST budget scotch, get a bottle of Black Bottle....it is a Scotch blend from all regions of scotland, has a screw cap and is only 40% (80 proof) but man is it tasty. And at about 20 dollars a bottle, you wont find a more budget scotch. You can thank me later for this quality daily sipper!

I dont think I could get "Golden Wedding" in Canada for less than $25. Budget bourbons under $10 would be a dream here. Happy Friday from Winnipeg! 🥃🥃🥃🥃
I had thought about grabbing a bottle of Cabin Still for a while since it is Heaven Hill but that price tag always kind of scared me. I am guessing it is super young juice. I wonder how it compares to the 3yr Quality House.
Trenton, Dutch processed cocoa is definitely NOT chocolate…please take the time to learn about and sample real craft chocolates. To talk of “chocolates”, you mighta oughta coulda AND shoulda know …. Kinda similar to referencing a ‘yugo’ as a sports performance auto…
Which of these budget-friendly whiskeys would you try? Comment below and let us know your go-to cheap whiskey! 🥃
OGD 114 is just so hard to beat 22 bucks locally.
Old Grandad BIB, $22 ish is hard to beat at that price. That’s about as low as I go
@@jolkraeremeark6949$20 here in Wisconsin.

Have you ever smelled that sock lint trapped under your toenail? It's like that mixed with a wild berry skittle.
"I'm getting a sour pit nose on this. You know when you forget to buy deodorant for a few days and you start to get sour whiffs coming from your armpits? I'm getting some of that with a confectionery sugar smell"
You say that with such conviction that it's leaving me with the feeling you may have done that before. 🤔
FYI that McCormick is Weston, MO and is essentially Ben Holladay now.
This was a great blind! So great to see a bunch of whiskey even SLB hasn't heard of. Great show!
I’ll pass on all 4, but thanks for taking one for the team
Wow ... Didn't see the Bah Hum Bug coming 🥃 Cheers
i love seeing any blinds under 50. it usually means most people can find it and can drink along.
That’s budget’s budget level goodness.
My favourite Whiskey channel!
Just ordered a couple items off the website, thank you guys so much for doing what you do!!!
Lol I couldnt get through these
It was an awesome blind! Well done!
Great job Jason!
The only whiskey you’re gonna get for under $10 in Canada is an airplane bottle
Well, Canada should become the 51st state and join us. Trudeau can be governor 😂😂😂😂😂
@ not very funny buddy
TRUMP is GANGSTER bro
Cabin Still for me.
Fantastic showing & review!! Big props to the inventor !! Now that's budget time!!
They're smokers and drinking Highballs 😂

For Christmas, I’d like that overhead camera up and running!! 😂
Thanks gentlemen again for the video. I'm surprised that there were no Trentonism's. Well there was the Smelly Shed comment! Smiles & Laughter...
I have never tried any of these, but I have heard of Cabin Still before. I'll bet a pour of it at a bar would not be too expensive!
I honestly love Cabin Still. If you can find the 750ml glass bottle its better than the big plastic bottle.
Chocolate malted drinks. I get it all the time. I love it.
You know, men, once all the renovation is done, if you are comfortable doing so, a video tour around the bar would be kind of cool.
Thanks for the review! I tend to consider "budget" whiskeys/bourbons in that $20-30 range. Anything under $20 I typically avoid as my assumption is that 'there's almost no way it could be decent at that price point.'
I would encourage you to try JTS Brown and JW Dant. Both should be under $20 in most markets and are really good for what they are
Prices can vary by region but I’ve seen WT101, EW BiB, and other solid budgets just under $20
@ChuckyLarms In my area I think most prices are pretty similar to others. EW bib $20, WT101 $26, etc. I was more referencing the unfamiliar/bottom-shelf labels that are priced so cheap, lower proof, and I've never heard of that make me pause.
My Grandpa used to drink Sunny Brook. Cheap but effective.
Astronaut in a flower field? Is that what that tattoo is Trenton? Interring choice my friend
Excited for them to try my blind! “JC (VA)”
I would really if ever spend more than $80 for a 750ml, I also would really spend less then $22. I come to realize my favorite mixed drink is Good Bourbon and ice.
Good work Kyle.
That was a fun one to watch

Green river a good one
Nooooo.... there's Malt in hot chocolate
With the remodeling project, are you going to have different camera angles usage of the room?
Do we get a video tour of the SLB bar when it's all done? Hope so! TonyB
Are you guys going to show the new renovations?

I have a bourbon Id like you guys to try. Limited to 2000 bottles

Note: Kessler isn't bourbon, it's just served as such at my local dive bar. Cmon j Clyde's! You're better than that.
Can you review Calumet bourbon please

Spend time with family drink good bourbon and if you’re a Christian, go to church and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, that always helps.
Please be quality house
When you black out the bottles, I just don’t click on the videos. Sorry.
