Glad you got what you needed for your lighting.don't want to hurt your feeling miss the kids. Also very very happy your girl is showing up in your videos.....instead of a background voice... good decision!!! Love watching.
The rocks are actually a group of minerals called fluorescents. They are from Franklin, New Jersey and consist of calcite, willemite and franklinite. They fluoresce under long and short wave ultraviolet light. This location is world famous. Hope this helps.
I honestly think you should work in a museum. Dave I have a masters and pretty much had to work so hard for good grades. I still would never have the knowledge you do. I think I enjoy your videos for your great understanding of history and art, then your horticulture knowledge. Your kindness to people and gratitude to all life. So yeah.... thanks. Oh your singing/humming and humor.
If you ask them, let the buyer be right; "...hay bales!.' 'Ohhh-kay, I found it in an old garage... it's $30.00-pay the lady." ...unless they ask you to be right. But hey, Winter's comin'... Thanks for the great videos and bringing me along, Dave. I like your patient, laid back style!.
Dave love your videos!! We need to see more of your "girl" She seems to be knowlegable in pins but we only see brief glances of her. She looks like she is a great co-worker when it comes to selling at the flea markets. Thanks.....you are the first video I go looking for.
I am sure you can can season the ld for the cast iron. I have one that looks like that and it fits my cast iron spider, the pot with legs to sit in the fire. I am sure you know the lid is turned up to hold coals so you can also cook from the top.
Great finds, good turnarounds..very impressed..so,jealous of your silver/gold guy,you have him near by and he seems reasonable, hard to find one lately, mine passed away. I think I'm starting a silver stash.
You have a keen eye ! Fun fact , when I was a kid Gramps used one of those ice saws to cut the rolled hay into haulable chunks to load into the barn .I wish more people remembered the good ole days , stay real brother .
nice silver hoard dave..im still holding mine...i think ill let mine go at $20 oz...Brian has a good payout though...your lucky he's local....wow..how fast you can pack up..lol..or was that just time lapse..? .though it was all that coffee you drink..lol
You remind me of Steve Martin in the movie 'The Jerk', "and I need this and this..." I really enjoy watching your videos and seeing how much you appreciate the craftsmanship that went into your finds. I just subscribed and best wishes to you and your family!
OMG...congrats on the silver deal...omg...maybe I need to look into doing that....wow...I sure could use the funds...LOL....sigh....thanks again for a great video.
Curious to know what glow rocks are? I am surprised everyday by the amount of rocks I sell? Whether I paint them or not? I've always had a fondness for all rocks myself! Thank you!
smokey the bear stuff is hot Dave! Wouldn't you get more listing the ring on ebay? We sell those rings all the time! The older silver is cool! I think a lot of the silver would go on ebay by maker and pattern.. Those serving spoons with the fiddle on stem are pretty nice! That little coin tray should be 295.00
I was wondering how you used to be able to buy the rejects form the cash4 gold place. I know it was an old video but that’s all I have been thinking about now! Thanks
Hey Dave, i was just wondering if you woulndt get way more money for the silver knife for example, than its scrapvalue? Especially on eBay i feel like the knife would sell pretty well :-)
My mother had a couple of those forks with the wood handles and inlay. She told me who made them, and I can't quite remember. I think it was something like John Premberton?? Does that ring a bell?
Dave, are you going to be SELLING the cuphandle hardware (drawer pulls) that you showed us a pile of just before the early griswald cast iron lid, on the passenger side seat of your truck, just before you ended the vid? If not, let me know if you would so I do not bother you about them again. Still waiting to hear about the ceramic elves too. its been awhile. Thanks
@@supermopsss Figures, proboly during the only time I did not check to see if they were listed, I got discouraged when all I saw for weeks were pins. Does he have 2 ebay accounts? blue bus dave is the one I have bookmarked

The tin box you got out of the trash might be a milk box. The lid came up and the milkman left bottled milk in it at your door step.
You have a keen eye ! Fun fact , when I was a kid Gramps used one of those ice saws to cut the rolled hay into haulable chunks to load into the barn .I wish more people remembered the good ole days , stay real brother .
