    Malcolm did a great job of improving this scene.
    The answers given were not on the script, Malcolm just told Stanley to let him do it his way, and the scene stayed untouched.

    My favorite part of this scene is Alex asking "How many did I get right?" as if it's some sort of test with correct and incorrect answers. That was always just so funny to me.

    Just like my experience - I saw this at 16 because of its banned reputation, but thought it was silly and boring. 10 years later I watched it again and was blown away, one of my fave films.

    First time I saw this movie I was about 15 (I was born in the 70's) and I didn't get it but mostly because of the gaudy early 70's ish-ness of it. Now it may be my favorite movie of all time and ironically half because of the 70's look to it. Watch it a few more times over the next 10 yrs and it will grow on you - I promise!

    it represents that by this time he has stopped being uncapable of chosing the bad (without feeling pain and pressure)and he is once again related to violent or naughy thoughts and behaviours. he doesn't seem to notice that instead and this doctor gives him the chance to express his spontaneous ideas trying not to interfere....

    This video was the first video, the first scene I ever saw of A Clockwork Orange. Back then, I had no idea how much of an impact this movie would have on my life.

    You know the story right. The new government had great great guilt for putting Alex through a treatment that drove him suicidal. It did not make the leader look good, so they tempered with his brain again. It was all about politics.

    I love the scene at the very end when the politician is talking to him and it gradually dawns on Alex what the bloke wants and that he can go back to his old ways. As he said I was finally cured at last. I'm paraphrasing but you know what I mean.

    The author who wrote this had a masterful handle of dialects and how they are created and change. I love all the terms.

    The first time I saw this movie, I had no idea what I had just watched! I sat in the corner and stared at the wall for a few hours... Then I watched it a second time..... and then all of a sudden it just made sense. And then I felt like drinking milk and listening to Beethoven.. Lol ;)
    any who. Cool movie, and Alex rocks.

    Alex is just the sweetest boy alive here. what he should have been before the evil world of council flats and low income life in a broken down futuristic (present day now) society gave him no alternative but to fight and be an animal.

    I think he was trying to say, there is no moral conclusion, this is just how things are-how the cookie crumbles. Everybody uses everybody else no matter how good, bad, unlucky, abused, mentaly deranged, fair, unfair they've been in there lives-that's the bottom line and thats how the world works-until we see better days that is, but something tells me they wont be any time soon.
    In any case the music, the intensity and the cinematography are fantastic.
