I don't think I've had goosebumps like this in my whole life.
I got pretty bad goosebumps looking at a fake trailer for Frieza. Seeing him but... real, it puts things into perspective of what Frieza would look like.
The trailer was done by some guys called K&K Productions. They do other fake trailers for Dragonball.

Idk what it is but to me, the first 4 minutes and 24 sec embodies not only the root of Dragon Ball Z but also shows why Gohan is not only Dragon Ball Z's main character but my favorite character in this franchise. We not only get a great nostalgic opera rendition of Rock the Dragon, we see how this theme, while known for being a hard rock vibe, provides a legacy that has introduced many to one of if not the most important anime franchise in history. Moving on to Gohan, seeing Goku speak of his son so fondly is sorta how the audience feels about Gohan up to this point. From the start of the series, many found Gohan to be an annoying cry baby seeking his father for protection and watching idly by. By the time of the Cell Games, he's grown much as a warrior having fought Vegeta and Frieza. By this time, we were under the impression that Goku was still the world's protector. It wasn't until Goku saw Gohan hit ssj2 did he realize his time as the world's protector was over. I believe I speak for everyone when I say 3:11 is easily the most chilling and goosebumpy feel you have during this segment. But it's not because of the words, its about what the words mean. Seeing a parallel to Gohan's many regrets while training with his father shows his doubt and why he was so shocked when Goku wanted him to fight Cell. Up until this point, Goku has been the one he called to rescue him, but what happens when that responsibility falls to you, you doubt yourself. Gohan's scream saying "I won't watch this anymore" followed by his future self screaming too brings it all around. Gohan's scream was not only chilling and hurtful, it was powerful and triumph as his legacy, his duty, his destiny was truly shown. Despite his lack of a fighting spirit, he can't sit and watch his friends or his family die. He wants to protect them and as seen here, he has the power and responsibility to do so.
My favorite part is when it shows both of Gohans ssj2 transformations during the cell games and the world tournament

Man i am 26 - 27 and still huge DBZ fan, been watching vids related to dbz since god knows when but this one .... this is just special man. Many vids tried to capture the majesty of DBZ but imo none ever got close to this one. Huge shoutout to you man and thank you for your effort and vision.

Anyone who has had this show in their life and liked it at one point, has had an awesome childhood/teen years/etc.! I didn't get to finish the series until my young adult years. But I remember first stumbling across it as a kid on TV. This video pretty much sums up my favorite parts in an epic way!

Ssj2 Gohan is a real killer with one hit idk why they stop showing Gohan with that much potential
This is the dragon ball I remember; when transformation's and character development meant something. Having characters be parody's of themselves is not character development it's just simply character regression and inconsistent power scaling with multi-coloured unimaginative transformation's just to sell merchandise does not make a great show in my opinion. Z and dragon ball will always be the best because Akira Toriyama was at the helm of the story he created. At least GT gave the franchise a prober good ending and a unique transformation with SSJ4, despite it's poor execution of it's story but SUPER was utter trash
