Garbage devs will just become more garbage and good devs will get even better. You’ll have to be a a good dev to use this stuff properly. But you’ll be able to have this thing remove needing a second person that you have to micro manage

Sam Altman has come out and said that he's banking on nuclear fusion to happen which would enable them to throw more power at the problem, AGI is not attainable with the LLMs we are currently using, and throwing more computing power at it won't solve it. Think about how driving is a simpler endeavor, and we still haven't solved that.

sure to completely replace a human we're definitely not there yet, but for coding specific task there's already softwares that can make websites in seconds, basic apps etc. so only time will tell how advanced they become to where you won't need 5+ devs to make something and just one dude using AI to help himself

This are just tools and what happens when things go wrong, hackers, etc. AI can’t replace us but it can help

yeah there's always opportunity for maintenance and security, but that would still lead to lots of simple task being eliminated.
