My cousin and I are currently doing a soul link run and its amazing. Love the content. *Edit* and it has some of the gen 9 pokemon in it as well.

Sunny Day legit the best move for Fire types. It buffs fire type moves, and it let's you use Solar Beam without charging. Meaning that you can counter their main weakness of Water, Rock, and Ground.
Emmmm...... not when your moves are randomized bruh, and legit sunny day isn't that good, only pokemon who set the sun by their ability are, but using that move.... nop, one turn wasted in this randomizer can be the end for you, even more if you use charizard a rock move and bye bye.
@@aitorchul2262 Which is why you don't use it when you are vulnerable to your opponent. It's the equivalent to using any set up move like swords dance or calm mind, you need to pick and choose your battles.
@@Patchnose I am aware. I explained it in my first comment. I know how the move works. But since it's a randomizer I'm sure they can come across random TMs and one of them probably being a fire type move.

I never thought I'd see a nuzlocke run where not one but two people don't know the type match up chart. A poison type against a ground type is just the latest in a long line of "why the hell is this one in right now", and then not switching to either of the two flying types was pretty good too.
