We are close to talking about the "grimro effect". Once he suggest something, it's no longer worth doing because the scarabs will all become out of control expensive.
people with working brains realize that grimro is simply the messenger, the strats already been rinsed by the time he makes the video (nothing wrong with that, that's how it works) most of the time the margins are still profitable, just not as crazy, its subjective if it "still worth" to you though I guess. But blaming people like Grimro or coming up with these nonsensical things like "grimro effect" is really 5 IQ way of thinking about the actual logic of the situation. You're never going to get Juiced Margins in trading by watching ANY guide ANY video ANY WHERE. Find them yourselves or at least have friends that are willing to share data EARLY. It's pretty simple logic. With all that being said we don't watch these grim videos for Juiced margin methods, we watch because its fun to see what and how it worked and grimro is great at explaining and talking about it and most people can still take ideas and thoughts on the actual process of supply/demand and actually play the game and see if they can incorporate the fundamentals and find a different market with better margins, which i have done many leagues.

You have to remember that these people have years of experience and play the game more than regular gamers. Dont ever feel bad or even try to compare your own progress to someone elses progress who plays these games for a living. Just have fun at your own pace :)

@@Kcajakon I slightly disagree. I think you need to look at what these "poe=life" madmen, just to learn what they are doing without spending the insane amount of hours. The important part is to not copy them 1 to 1, but rather adapt to your own pace. I made headhunters and Magebloods worth of currency by farming 1 stable strat and gradually upgrading the build so I can do it faster, and in turn get more money. These grinders are doing the same, except they do it a few hundred times faster.
If use a ambush scarab of containment on a smaller map size, eg Atoll, will it 'delete' some of the strongboxes or just squeeze them in? do you need a big map for this to work. thx
I have a question about veiled crafts: Is it better to run higher tier maps or to level up the individuals to finally unveil all crafts? I've got like 4-5 missing and I want to spec out of that tree :P
you dont need all the crafts, only the ones you need for yourself and you can still buy veiled items off trade to unveil yourself, if youre missing a craft you need. and you dont need to spec into it, if you wanna do jun just for unveils, just use a scarab.
Is the strongbox tree viable without using the scarbs and just doing alch and go? Or are they necessary? Ambush Scarb of Discernment is going up in price. Ambush Scarb of Hidden and Ambush Scarb seem to stay the same Or should i just not use the Scarb of Discernment. How needed is this one and what would still be a viable price?
As someone who likes to self sustain in trade, I enjoy blocking all mechanics I dont run myself. That way the scarab pool gets reduced. It's gonna take me about a month to get my mageblood and I'm fine with that. If you have big goals that you wanna complete fast then definitely don't block meta mechanics
well the essence strat is expensive now cause the scarab costs 100c and the strongbox scarab costs 50c so i think the best option right now for low budget would be just legion right?
For anyone wanting to do essences, makes sure you craft either "increased rare monsters" or "twin bosses" or both in the best of worlds. 2x bosses actually drops 2x the amount of essence so it's pretty broken
Press shift+space with poe and awakened poe trade open to open the settings menu. Go to the about tab and click check update or install update. Go through the accept options and restart awakened poe trade and if necessary, the poe client itself. I would personally suggest running awakened poe as administrator to make sure it works and all that.
That's like at least 3 ideas what to farm for me. I can't do it as good as you, so probably I would try strongboxes at cheap and maybe simplified harbringers (sounds a lot like memory with them, but better) Biggus thanksus!
So, about the strongbox strat. I'm not 100% sure but it seems like the monsters you put in using the allflames appear in the strongbox. Maybe they drop less things while inside it, I don't know. The one big thing I got was a strongbox with the sulphite allflame mobs and I got 7k sulphite (I was still in tier 10 maps lol). Tried to do the same using the tatoo guys but I didn't a good result.
Yeah as natural inhabitants of the map they spawn from the boxes and triggering the box multiple times will give you higher than average value from gold mods and allflames.
they didnt nerf the stacked deck droprate in legion, they nerfed stacked decks on their own and in every mechanic. you get 1 maximum 2 from any type of div card reward chest now. and it was noted in the patch notes
For a paper lightning arrow build, which one do you think is best for currency? I'm honestly having a blast as it's my first successful non tank build but I think it'll probably cap out at yellow maps and not the 2 void stones as i planed for hehe
the block nodes dont give beyond chance, its not one of the listed mech that count as "extra content that can be turned off through atlas passives" your deli chance also seems to be at 98%, 84% from deli nodes and 7x2% from block nodes with some different pathing and cutting some of the hat, you can get 100% beyond and maybe some flex nodes into some ritual chance?
I actually thought abou that strongbox strat. At least the 30% chance to reopen which i thought was kind of wild, considering how with the only 6% or whatever i could sometimes get 3 or 4. 30% is crazy strong. 75% chance for a boss harby is crazy. I wonder if you could drop the harby nodes and pick up the keystone that grants 3 notables for double kitac cost. Maybe put those point into shrines or league stuff.
Not sure if its particularly strong but specing rouge exiles plus torment (specifically exiles spawn in pairs, are possessed and chance to drop currency + quant dropped by possessed) then using allflames to convert high density packs to exiles and the scarab for pairs of exiles results in kind of stupid numbers of rouge exiles...

What is your build ? Do you follow any build guide ? And if so, are you following it correctly ? Sometimes there are a few tweaks you have to make to be more comfortable with a build but usually it's when you already know how the game/build works, if you're a beginner make sure you are following the guide as written :) (also depends on the build, there are a lot of builds that are "fake" on youtube and the web... Maybe you're following a bad build, if even you're following one) :)
Try to get your resistances as close to 75 percent as possible and have around 300 life minimum per act, so at act 7 shoot for 2100 life and as close to 75 percent in all 4 resists with chaos resist being the least important of the four.
Dont compare to any streamers yourslef. I once tried Grimro "strat". Main rule: if its already public - it will be way less profit and juice will x2-x3. So dont bother, play mechanic you enjoy, its not the end of the day if you have or not have 200divs.
LOL i cant believe i clicked the video and i have gone hard into essence before watching i even took all the essence nodes and yeah its great i play it at tier 16 though and i aslo put points into strong boxes and there popping like crazy as well. I do them on t16 though
Go full maps, scarabs, searing exarch, shrines and strongboxes notables on the Atlas Skill Tree and run Jungle Valley. Take all the minion options on the altar that pop up. Just a quick guess and something I do myself right now. Obviously not huge profit, but still something. Keep in mind, you'll be clicking a lot, because you drop lots of bubble gum currency and 10-20 GCPs a map do matter when sold in bulk.

It's just that all the mapping strats are quite profitable only if you utilize market inefficiencies which is not "pure profit" as you could also flip those cheap scarabs instead. As someone who’s been running 8mod breach or legion+breach the last few leagues. It hurt my heart a little bit seeing the screen shots of multiple 10-30k opening of scarab and seeing like 10 chayula vs multiple of hundreds of others…. Why they do this to me hahaha I feel like that has to be some type of over sight.. I mean like 10 scarabs vs 10k openings. Was so hyped for breach this league with new scarabs.

More people farming (essences e.g), allowing more accessible crafting materials that allow people to improve their builds, etc. Maybe you are mirroring POE economy to real world economy, but currency in this game has intrinsic value, so it's not the same at all. I'd rather have a bunch of people farming good strats than a bunch of people not knowing how to contribute to the economy.
Dunno about strongboxes was fine till i got league buff jewels drop as divine orbs 50% , and that scarab that change packs into strongboxes kinda gg... i would use 3x strongboxes scarabs + rarity and 1 more instead of that which changes all packs from now on P.S after your video now 1div ;D

Oh and you might have to task manager close awakened poe trade to make sure you reboot the updated version.
I use strongboxes for my alch and go, along with The Price of Progress. The latter often spawns strongboxes that are buffed by your atlas

Not sure if its particularly strong but specing rouge exiles plus torment (specifically exiles spawn in pairs, are possessed and chance to drop currency + quant dropped by possessed) then using allflames to convert high density packs to exiles and the scarab for pairs of exiles results in kind of stupid numbers of rouge exiles...

What is your build ? Do you follow any build guide ? And if so, are you following it correctly ? Sometimes there are a few tweaks you have to make to be more comfortable with a build but usually it's when you already know how the game/build works, if you're a beginner make sure you are following the guide as written :) (also depends on the build, there are a lot of builds that are "fake" on youtube and the web... Maybe you're following a bad build, if even you're following one) :)
Try to get your resistances as close to 75 percent as possible and have around 300 life minimum per act, so at act 7 shoot for 2100 life and as close to 75 percent in all 4 resists with chaos resist being the least important of the four.

Dont compare to any streamers yourslef. I once tried Grimro "strat". Main rule: if its already public - it will be way less profit and juice will x2-x3.
So dont bother, play mechanic you enjoy, its not the end of the day if you have or not have 200divs.

What if I want to alch and go and not have to buy scarabs
Go full maps, scarabs, searing exarch, shrines and strongboxes notables on the Atlas Skill Tree and run Jungle Valley. Take all the minion options on the altar that pop up.
Just a quick guess and something I do myself right now. Obviously not huge profit, but still something. Keep in mind, you'll be clicking a lot, because you drop lots of bubble gum currency and 10-20 GCPs a map do matter when sold in bulk.

It's just that all the mapping strats are quite profitable only if you utilize market inefficiencies which is not "pure profit" as you could also flip those cheap scarabs instead. Imo mapping is dead and I wonder how much a streamer can earn from mapping while being open about his strat

It's straight up pick your own league league and there is an absolute ton of ways to make money, granted not all amazing, but you can farm whatever you want and make consistent money off of it. @@Kaluka101 with sanctum you get around 15-20 divines per hour on average so 200 div is a matter of one long sitting. Now what is the strat you can do on maps that outputs that much?
I have a feeling Strongboxes will be really strong with the new buffs to necropolis since they spawn necropolis mobs.

@cckmanofsteel2393 naturally. Necropolis affects all of a specific normal map monster, and strongboxes spawn more map monsters.

The Atlas Nodes to block specific content should not be providing an increased chance for Beyond to spawn on your map.
As someone who’s been running 8mod breach or legion+breach the last few leagues. It hurt my heart a little bit seeing the screen shots of multiple 10-30k opening of scarab and seeing like 10 chayula vs multiple of hundreds of others…. Why they do this to me hahaha
I feel like that has to be some type of over sight.. I mean like 10 scarabs vs 10k openings. Was so hyped for breach this league with new scarabs.

cheeeeeeeeeeeers what a WILD league start, and SOOOOO many ways to invest int ostuff! finally hit red maps nad finished white nad yellow progression but i only have my first 200 chaos after so long LMFAO even tho youve already pumped 200+ divs lol but lightning arrow has been a ton of fun for the first time and ive goten some good starting gear to keep progressing while testing legion and banking on some prayers for my first few early divines! BUT MANNNNNNN I DEFFINITLY DONT UNDERSTAND THE ECONOMY LMFAO also cause scarabs are so cheap!@ there so many options im so excited ot find what i enjoy and find what can make my build so strong so cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers

@@smoke7877 I mean in a way yes. A lot of people don't/didn't know how to make money this league. More people farming (essences e.g), allowing more accessible crafting materials that allow people to improve their builds, etc. Maybe you are mirroring POE economy to real world economy, but currency in this game has intrinsic value, so it's not the same at all. I'd rather have a bunch of people farming good strats than a bunch of people not knowing how to contribute to the economy.
Dunno about strongboxes was fine till i got league buff jewels drop as divine orbs 50% , and that scarab that change packs into strongboxes kinda gg... i would use 3x strongboxes scarabs + rarity and 1 more instead of that which changes all packs from now on P.S after your video now 1div ;D
